Chapter 656

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 656:

“She’s our chief examiner!” Jared replied, his voice unwavering.

Just then, Madisyn strolled over. Her beauty was striking, and her demeanor frosty. In that moment, everyone couldn’t help but think of one word: “Rose.”

“Could Madisyn actually be Rose?” a man asked, his voice filled with disbelief.

Madisyn, her tone as icy as ever, responded with calm authority, “That’s correct. I am your chief examiner, Rose. Now, I hear there have been some doubts about today’s assessment?”

Jada felt the world tilt beneath her. Her vision wavered. Madisyn wasn’t just Rosemarie; she was also Rose… How could she be so amazing?

“No, I refuse to believe it! It’s impossible! Jared and Madisyn are close—they must be lying to us, right?” Jada shouted, her composure unraveling.

All her life, she had been praised for her achievements, but after meeting Madisyn, her confidence had shattered numerous times. Everything she took pride in seemed insignificant in comparison.

Jared shot her a look, as if she were a fool.

Meanwhile, Madisyn pulled out the Qiviut Organization’s badge, gleaming brightly in the light. It was impossible to fake. Besides, the idea that Jared would help Madisyn pose as Rose was absurd to anyone watching.

Jada clenched her teeth in frustration. “Fine, even if you are Rose, there’s no way Gabriela came first in this assessment.” She was unwilling to accept that all her hard work could be outdone by Gabriela.

“You’re free to raise your doubts,” Madisyn said, “but according to the organization’s rules, if there’s no foul play, you’ll have to kneel and apologize publicly. If there’s foul play, I will resign.”

Jada hesitated for a moment, but quickly nodded. She was sure of herself—she hadn’t made many mistakes in the exam.

Madisyn, unfazed, called for both their test papers and the correct answers to be posted on the wall for everyone to see. Jada examined every question with intense scrutiny, unwilling to overlook a single one. She had made two mistakes.

Even so, she thought her performance was impressive. Could Gabriela really have answered everything perfectly?

Jada then turned her attention to Gabriela’s test paper. Shock washed over her as she realized Gabriela hadn’t made a single mistake. Her face turned ashen.

As the room collectively absorbed the results, murmurs filled the air.

“Gabriela’s incredible!”

“Not one mistake? That’s impressive.”

“Jada did well, but why was she so confident, thinking she’d come first?”

Slowly, the crowd began to distance themselves from Jada. She stood frozen, feeling the weight of mocking stares, her eyes hollow.

Gabriela’s voice cut through the tension. “Jada, you slandered our examiner. Apologize!”

Gabriela’s gaze was sharp with conviction—Rose was her idol, and she wouldn’t tolerate anyone tarnishing her name.

Jada’s eyes flickered toward Madisyn.
