Chapter 661
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 661:
Time passed, but the light in the operating room remained on, and Susanâs anxiety only deepened.
Dane, who had heard the news, rushed to the hospital. He wrapped his arms around Susan, comforting her.
âDonât worry. Iâll make sure you get the best doctors for your dad. Heâll be fine,â he reassured her.
As Susan melted into Daneâs warm embrace, she finally broke down, tears flowing freely.
Dane gently stroked her hair, but his cold, unwavering gaze remained fixed on Jada, who was kneeling on the floor, trembling in fear.
Now that Jada had calmed down, she realized the gravity of her situation. After everything she had done, neither the Johns family nor Esteban would let her go.
The anxiety of her actions gnawed at her as she contemplated the consequences.
She made a decision in her heart.
She would have to let her parents get a divorce.
Then, she and Mara could move to another city, away from everyone.
The thought of starting fresh in a new place fueled Jadaâs resolve.
While lost in this thought, imagining a new life, Susan stood up and walked toward her.
Though her eyes were red from crying, Susanâs gaze was as cold as ice.
She raised her right foot and kicked Jada hard in the chest.

The sudden pain knocked the wind out of Jada, causing her to stumble back, nearly choking, her face turning pale.
âSusan, that kick was for our father. He treated you so well. How dare you do this to him?â Susanâs voice was sharp, unwavering, and full of anger.
Jada looked up at her, smiling bitterly. âTreated me well? Howâ¦â
Susan retorted, âWhen we were kids, you took all my pocket money, but you were never satisfied. You took all my clothes and jewelry, but you never showed any gratitude. Every penny spent on those things was earned through his hard work.â
Jada bit her lower lip, momentarily at a loss for words. After a brief pause, she finally said, âHe only cares about you. Otherwise, he wouldnât have given the company to you alone. If he had given me a part of the company, I wouldnât have done this.â
The more Jada spoke, the more she convinced herself that she was the real victim. Esteban and Susan were to blame for everything. They had pushed her to act this way.
Another sharp kick landed on Jadaâs chest, making her scream in agony.
The pain radiated through her body, and her heart was filled with fury. How had things turned out like this? How could she be treated so poorly?
