Chapter 675
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 675:
Aswil was caught up in its own turmoil, and it was uncertain when the princess might lose her standing. âAndrew doesnât need a princess, but the princess needs him,â Madisyn replied.
âYou think Andrew is being coerced? But who could force him if he doesnât want to?â Waylon was perplexed.
Madisyn was at a loss, too. That was the reason she was heading there. She had to figure out what had driven Andrew to willingly go to Aswil.
Holding the badge of the Klein family, she went directly to the Klein familyâs private airport. After several hours in the air, she touched down in Aswil as evening shadows fell.
Waylon, who was in town for a concert, picked up Madisyn and drove her to a hotel.
His global travels and extensive contacts had given him a deep understanding of Aswilâs current dynamics.
Over dinner, Waylon said, âIn Aswil, the big businesses hold tremendous influence, and the kingâs brother is closely allied with them. The two brothers engage in both overt and covert competition. Savannah is the daughter of the kingâs brother. An alliance with the Klein family would be a major global talking point. Such a move would strengthen her fatherâs political position and pave his way to the throne.â
Madisyn considered this information, which wasnât entirely new to her. âHowever, if the conglomerates continue to hold power, the wealthy will thrive while the poor will find it harder and harder to rise.â
âExactly,â Waylon agreed, noticing that Madisynâs plate remained untouched.
He offered her some food, saying, âThankfully, Andrew isnât facing any immediate danger. We need a good meal to help us strategize!â
Madisyn met Waylonâs concerned look and nodded, beginning to eat. The food was flavorful, but it also reminded her of Andrewâs comforting, home-cooked meals.
While they dined, a sudden knock interrupted the quiet. âWaylon, come out here!â someone shouted, banging on the door.
Waylon muttered a curse under his breath. âDamn!â

âWho is it?â Madisyn asked.
âItâs the daughter of my boss I mentioned earlier. Sheâs also Savannahâs cousin!â Waylon explained with frustration. âShe must have heard I brought you here and now she wants to stir up trouble. Sheâs so irritating!â Madisyn sympathized with him.
Waylon didnât answer the door, but the knocking intensified.
âWaylon, come out! Is there a woman with you? Open the door in one minute or Iâll break it down! Donât underestimate me!â The person outside exuded arrogance.
Waylon was seething but felt powerless, knowing that this spoiled woman might actually follow through on her threat.
âDo you need my help?â Madisyn asked.
