Chapter 691
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 691:
The abrupt shout jolted her awake. She blinked, momentarily dazed, and looked up to find Waylon standing there.
Confusion clouded her gazeâwhere had Andrew gone?
âWhat are you looking for?â Waylon asked.
âAndrewâ¦â Madisynâs voice trailed off. Then, it dawned on herâAndrew had lost his memory; it was impossible for him to be here, let alone hold her while she slept. It must have been a dream.
Remembering the medicine, she sprang up, but Waylon quickly reassured her, âI noticed you usually let it brew for four hours, but when you didnât come out this time, I came in. I found you on the floor and turned off the stove. Are you okay?â
âIâm fine. Thank you,â Madisyn replied with a gentle smile. She handed the finished medicine to Ramon.
âIâm really exhausted,â she admitted to Waylon.
âThen you need to rest. Dottieâs condition is improving every day. I think sheâll be fully recovered soon,â Waylon said, his voice filled with genuine concern.
âAlright,â Madisyn replied.
She made her way upstairs to rest, falling asleep almost the moment her head touched the pillow. Meanwhile, Ramon slipped through a hidden path and returned to Dottieâs place.
From a distance, a pair of watchful eyes followed his every step.
In her grand residence, Savannah was practicing her etiquette when a breathless servant rushed in.
âWhat is it?â Savannah asked, not pausing in her practice.
âPrincess Savannah, it appears that Dottie has truly returned. Iâve seen Ramon making frequent visits to that secluded house recently,â the servant reported.

âDid you see Dottie?â Savannah inquired.
âNo, the area around her house is heavily guarded, so I couldnât get close. But Ramon seemed to be delivering somethingâsomething that resembles medicine,â the servant added.
Savannahâs eyes narrowed thoughtfully. The last time Dottie had ventured out to enjoy herself, Savannah had orchestrated her kidnapping, sending her to Serpentine Palers for torture. Yet, Dottieâs resilience had been remarkable, enabling her to escape.
âHumph⦠So what if sheâs back? Her mother is still exhausting every possible method to heal her, but itâs all proving futile,â Savannah said with disdain. âSince Dottie has returned, I suppose I should pay her a visit.â
With a calculating smile, Savannah adjusted her attire. Though she was convinced that Dottie could never fully recover, she still felt compelled to see it for herself. Savannah made her way to the secluded house where Dottie was staying. As the guards were about to inform the queen and Dottie, Savannah spoke in a stern voice, âDo I need permission to see my own cousin? Donât startle her; Iâll go in directly.â
