Chapter 710
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 710:
âStill acting? Why did you run off right before the engagement ceremony began?â Savannahâs anger flared.
âI blacked out on the road,â Andrew responded, his voice unbothered.
âYou expect me to believe that?â
Savannah scoffed, disbelief etched on her face. Before she could continue, one of her attendants hurried in, thrusting an iPad into her hands.
âItâs trueâhe did faint suddenly on the road, and a servant took him to a room for treatment.â
Savannah reviewed the surveillance footage, and much to her surprise, it was exactly as Andrew had said. After leaving his room that morning, he had veered off course, eventually collapsing without warning before being carried away by a servant.
Still suspicious, Savannah narrowed her eyes. âWhy were you walking in that direction to begin with?â
That road didnât even lead to the venue for the engagement ceremony.
Andrew said, âI honestly donât know. I was dizzy.â
As he spoke, his expression remained calm, making it difficult for Savannah to gauge the authenticity of his words.
Her eyes darkened slightly. âWhy did you go out alone?â She had meticulously arranged for a few trusted individuals to keep a close watch on Andrew, monitoring his every move. Yet, Andrew had managed to slip away from their surveillance and go out on his own.
Savannah couldnât help but be suspicious.
Andrew shook his head and said solemnly, âI donât know either.â
Savannah turned to the servant, who hastily explained, âI spoke with the people assigned to watch Mr. Klein, and they said he suddenly attacked them, knocking them all unconscious. They also said Mr. Klein looked very strange.â
Andrew chimed in, âIâve been having headaches lately.â As he spoke, he clutched his head, and his expression twisted with discomfort.

His pain seemed genuine, and looking at him made Savannah feel uncomfortable. Suddenly, she remembered the hypnotistâs warning. Indeed, he could alter Andrewâs memories, but it would inflict significant harm, particularly to his brain.
What Andrew was experiencing now seemed entirely plausible because of the hypnotistâs manipulation. Savannah stared at Andrew for a few seconds, quickly assessing the situation.
âAlright, letâs not talk about it anymore. Come on. You need to rest.â
Savannah helped Andrew sit on the chair nearby.
Andrew still looked extremely uncomfortable, and beads of sweat were already covering his forehead, trickling down his handsome face. Savannahâs heart sank at the sight of this. She was even more convinced that his headache was a result of the hypnosis.
âBy the way, what did you mean by regaining memory just now?â Andrew asked, looking confused. âDid I lose some memories?â
âNo. Donât think too much about it. Just get some rest,â Savannah said gently.
Her main goal was to ensure Andrew attended the engagement ceremony. So, it was good that he hadnât regained his memory.
