Chapter 717
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 717:
Once inside Savannahâs room, Yolanda slapped her sharply across the face.
âMom, youâre hitting me now?â Savannah covered her face, her eyes filled with tears.
âWhat were you thinking?â Yolandaâs voice was full of frustration. âDo you even realize what people are saying about you now? Everything youâve worked so hard for has been ruined by that man!â
Yolanda continued, âI care about you, but your fatherâs career matters more. Canât you see how serious your mistake was this time?â
Savannah remained silent. She knew that her actions would affect her fatherâs career.
She quietly wept.
After a moment of anger, Yolanda sighed. âWhat happened? Didnât you say the hypnotist replaced Andrewâs memories?â
âYes,â Savannah answered, her voice barely above a whisper. âBut I donât know why Andrew suddenly changed. Iâll ask the hypnotist later.â
âThereâs no time for that,â Yolanda replied impatiently. âWe need to get rid of the hypnotist now to protect our secret.â
Yolanda paused and then said, âIâll call the doctor to treat your wounds. After that, you need to apologize to your father.â
âAlright,â Savannah murmured, her head bowed, her eyes hidden beneath her hair.
Yolanda added, âDonât be too heartbroken. Even though we couldnât gain control over the Klein family, we still have an ace up our sleeve in Lorpond.â
The news of Savannahâs return quickly spread throughout the palace. Meanwhile, Madisyn was completing Dottieâs final treatment.
The last traces of poison left Dottieâs body, and she was fully healed.
With a calm, ocean-like gaze, Dottie extended her hand and caught a bird flying by. The bird let out a frantic cry in her grasp.
Waylon stood a short distance away, completely stunned. He hadnât even seen how Dottie made her move.
It honestly felt unfair to himâthere had to be something in those female genes that gave them an edge over men! Dottie slowly opened her hand, and the terrified bird, sensing its release, flapped its wings in a frantic rush to escape.
Madisyn glanced at Dottie with admiration. Dottie possessed incredible strength but never misused it against the innocent. She carried herself with the regal air of someone destined to lead.
âYouâve fully recovered. Congratulations. Weâll be leaving now,â Madisyn said.
Dottie gazed at Madisyn, a flicker of reluctance in her eyes. âMadisyn, you could stay a few more days.â
âI have things I need to take care of,â Madisyn replied.
Dottie didnât press further, sensing the sadness that lingered behind Madisynâs composed exterior. She knew from her mother about Madisynâs situation and understood. With quiet determination, Dottie promised, âWhen I claim the throne, Iâll make sure justice is served for you.â
Madisyn gave a gentle smile. âAlright, thank you.â
