Chapter 723
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 723:
After a lengthy plea, Yolanda finally offered Clarissa a small piece of land, which persuaded her to leave.
Meanwhile, in a presidential suite of a hotel, Madisyn was focused, typing furiously on her computer. She was deep into trying to hack into the Serpentine Palersâ system. Thirty minutes passed, and she finally broke through their security.
Madisyn began poring over their list of missions. Her expression turned into a scowl as she uncovered details of thefts, murders, and plunder.
The extent of the ruthlessness of Savannahâs family became painfully clear.
They clearly deserved to be taken down!
Fired up by this, Madisyn resolved to erase everything on their computers.
Suddenly, the window flew open. Without thinking, she grabbed a fruit knife from the table, squinting as she aimed it at the intruder.
She thrust the knife forward, but when she saw the personâs face, her eyes widened in astonishment. She tried to withdraw, but it was too late; the man grasped her hand firmly.
âWhy are you here?â Madisyn exclaimed, her voice filled with shock.
The manâs eyes softened as he replied, âArenât you glad to see me?â His tone was gentle, filled with yearning as he drew her into an embrace. Tears welled up in Madisynâs eyes.
She remained silent, just soaking in Andrewâs heartfelt, apologetic words. âIâm sorry for all the worry Iâve caused you.â
Madisyn buried her head deeper into his embrace.
âWhy didnât you come back sooner?â
âI wanted to rush back to you. But I needed to think about our future. As long as Savannahâs family is around, many people will die.â

He then shifted the conversation toward his recent visit to Clarissa.
âDid Yolanda really give the land to the Black family?â Madisyn asked.
âNot at all,â Andrew said calmly. âAt this point, Yolanda wouldnât risk handing anything over to anyone, scared that she might get caught. But as long as she holds out against giving it to Clarissa, Clarissa will be convinced that itâs gone to the Black family.â
Madisyn couldnât help but admire Andrewâs brilliant thinking.
She began to think ahead, her mind whirling. âBut Yolanda fears Clarissa might not back her, so sheâll eventually have to concede something.â
Andrew nodded in agreement. âYolanda is both ruthless and shrewd. She wonât simply make a concession to Clarissa without ensuring some hold over her, especially knowing Clarissa isnât as loyal anymore. She needs that leverage to secure the Hunt familyâs support during the leadership change.â
âSo, what Yolanda offers is actually leverage against Clarissa?â Madisyn asked.
âClarissa must have completely lost faith in Yolanda by now.â
As Clarissa sat in the car, she looked down at the contract in her hands, her fingers gently tracing the embossed seal.
At first glance, the contract seemed perfect.
