Chapter 833
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 833:
âNot mine either,â Elaine admitted playfully.
âTry the pancakesâI made those.â
Madisyn tasted a pancake and her expression shifted to surprise.
âMom, this is incredible! It tastes just like the ones at that fancy bakery downtown.â
Elaine chuckled, her cheeks faintly pink.
âItâs from a pre-made mix I bought online. All I did was add water and heat it up. But hey, Iâm getting better, arenât I?â
Waylon smiled, nodding as he chewed.
âPre-made mixes really are a miracle.â His comment earned him a playful tap on the back of the head from Glenn.
âWaylon, now that youâre out of showbiz, whatâs the plan? Why not join your brother at the company?â
Waylon shook his head quickly.
âOh no, Dad! Iâd be useless at the company. Iâd probably bankrupt the place in a month. I intend to do modeling. With my looks and build, I could go global.â
Glenn leaned back, unimpressed.

âYou? A model?â
Feeling the challenge, Waylon declared confidently, âGive me a year, and Iâll prove I have what it takes to be a supermodel. I just havenât hit the runway yet!â
Madisyn broke the tension.
âI believe in you, Waylon.â Waylon glanced at his sister, visibly moved.
âThanks, sis. Youâre the best.â
Laughter erupted around the table, filling the house with a warmth they hadnât felt in a long time.
As the chatter died down, Andrewâs voice rose above the rest, steering the conversation toward Madisyn and his engagement.
âWeâre going all out this time,â he said.
âA grand ceremony, a week from now.â
The week flew by in a flurry of preparations.
Andrew poured every ounce of his energy into perfecting every detail of the ceremony, while Madisyn worked tirelessly for the company, only arriving at a hotel near the venue the night before the big day.
She expected a simple, elegant affair, much like her first engagement.
But when she stepped into the venue, her jaw dropped.
Three floors of the hotel were designated for use.
The first floor handled check-ins, the second hosted the ceremony, and the third served as a lounge area.
