Chapter 86
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 86:
Kristine wasnât happy to hear those words.
Why did Madisyn think she had the right to boss her around like that?
âI didnât want to say it, but since you keep pushing like youâre trying to slander me⦠Madisyn, Iâm going to be honestâyouâre the one who pushed me!â Kristine cried out, tears cascading down her cheeks. âI admit I had my doubts about you during the competition, but that doesnât give you the right to sabotage my shot at the international competition, does it? Iâve given up so much for thisâeveryone knows that!â
Lynda remained silent, her expression tangled with emotions.
Elaine took a deep breath, visibly upset. Whether Madisyn was guilty or Kristine was setting her up, the situation left a bad taste in her mouth.
Glenn patted Elaineâs shoulder, his expression hardening as he spoke to Kristine, âIâll get to the bottom of this. For now, focus on recovering.â With those words, he walked Elaine out of the room.
Dane and Madisyn followed them in silence.
Once they were gone, only Lynda and the servant remained with Kristine.
Kristine, her tears flowing freely now, turned to Lynda. âAunt, are you doubting me too?â

Lynda, feeling a twinge of sympathy, sighed. âKristine, if Madisyn truly did this, I wonât forgive her. But we need the truth.â Her tone was firm but gentle.
Kristine clenched her fists, seething internally. Why does no one believe me? She was on the brink of losing all control.
Madisyn and her parents returned home. The car ride was thick with tension.
Upon arriving, Elaine turned to Madisyn, her gaze soft and motherly. âYou should get some rest,â she advised.
Madisyn nodded, and after retreating to her room, she quickly slipped into a deep sleep, exhausted from the stress.
When she awoke, the world had changed.
News of Kristineâs fall had spread online, and accusations against Madisyn were rampant. The internet was abuzz with condemning comments.
âHow could someone like Madi, with such questionable morals, be a dance master?â
âKristine worked so hard for the competition, and this is how sheâs treated?â
âTalent doesnât excuse awful behaviorâshe shouldnât represent our country!â
Public opinion was overwhelmingly in favor of Kristine, leaving Madisyn to face a storm of hate.
Madisyn skimmed through the comments, a dark glint flashing in her eyes. Kristine had thrown herself down the stairs, willing to frame her to ruin her reputation.
Why did Kristine harbor such deep hatred?
Sighing, Madisyn made her way downstairs, where she found Elaine and Glenn talking.
Elaineâs face was etched with distress. âI never imagined things would spiral out of control like this. Was adopting Kristine a mistake?â
âDonât dwell on it,â Glenn responded. âWe canât control everything.â
Spotting Madisyn, Elaine quickly composed herself. âMadisyn, pack your things. Youâll head to the competition with your aunt.â
Madisyn nodded but said, âI want to see Kristine first.â
Elaine hesitated before agreeing, âAlright, go ahead.â
In the hospital, the moment Madisyn stepped inside Kristineâs room, she was nearly slapped in the face. She managed to dodge just in time.
âHow dare you show your face here!â Josie shouted, her eyes blazing with fury. âLook at what youâve done to Kristine!â
âWho says I did this?â Madisyn replied icily.
âIf not you, then who? Do you expect me to believe Kristine threw herself down the stairs to frame you?â Josie scoffed.
âI need to talk to Kristine. Alone,â Madisyn demanded.
âIâm not leaving you two alone while sheâs in this condition!â Josie retorted.
Before Madisyn could respond, a bodyguard entered and swiftly escorted Josie out of the room.
