Chapter 90
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 90:
After reflecting for a moment, Madisyn simply said, âHeâs a nice man.â
Lynda was momentarily speechless. Was that all there was to it? She hadnât expected that one day Andrew would go from being the one pursued to the one doing the pursuing. But it seemed that Madisyn wasnât going to be easily won over. It was clear Andrew had a long journey ahead of him.
Lynda and Madisyn checked in at the hotel and headed upstairs. As they exited the elevator, they were met with the sight of a heated argument by one of the rooms. A group of women, clearly natives of Mafelen, stood outside the room, while inside were the other two contestants from Lorpond.
Lynda frowned, recognizing her countrymen embroiled in a dispute. She quickened her steps, curious to find out what was happening. Madisyn, meanwhile, lingered behind, observing the scene with mild interest.
Rosaline Payne, one of the Lorpond contestants, was visibly upset. âWe were assigned this room randomly. It has a great view, and now they want us to swap. Weâve already settled in, so we declinedâ¦â
The woman from Mafelen, tall and blonde, dressed in designer clothes that screamed luxury, sneered with clear disdain. âEven if youâve already settled in, itâs not that hard to pack up and move. Iâll make it easy for youâten thousand dollars for the room.â
She held out a sleek card as if the offer was an undeniable deal.
Beside her stood another Mafelen woman in green, her expression cold and aloof, watching the confrontation unfold without a word.
Lyndaâs face hardened. âIf you want a better room, why not just upgrade?â
âThe hotelâs fully booked,â the blonde woman snapped, her patience clearly wearing thin. âItâs just a little packing. Honestly, itâs no wonder Lorpond hasnât performed well these past few years. I can see the laziness is deeply ingrained.â

Rosalineâs face turned red with anger. âExcuse me?â
The blonde woman chuckled, âOh, am I wrong? Lorpond hasnât made it past the second round for three years. Might as well pack your bags nowâyouâll probably be heading home tomorrow anyway.â
Madisyn, watching from the sidelines, suddenly spoke up, her voice calm yet commanding. âIt seems the Mafelen contestants are in need. If you want the room so badly, itâs yours.â
Rosalineâs eyes widened, not willing to back down so easily. Why was Madisyn giving in? It was clear these women were just trying to humiliate them!
Lynda was also puzzled by Madisynâs decision to concede. But before Rosaline or the male contestant could object, Madisyn held up a keycard. âI have a presidential suite here. Initially, I thought staying in our assigned rooms would be fine, given that weâre all competitors. But seeing how desperately the Mafelen contestants want this room, weâll move to the suite.â
The blonde womanâs eyes flickered as she registered the sight of the keycard. The presidential suite in this hotel was notoriously expensiveâfar beyond what she or her companion could afford.
Madisyn calmly took the womanâs offered card and said, âSince you were so kind as to offer compensation, weâll accept this.â
She turned to Rosaline and the male contestant, her voice steady. âPack your things. Weâre moving to the presidential suite. Thereâs more than enough room for all of us.â
Rosaline, who had been initially annoyed, now felt a wave of satisfaction wash over her. The smug expression on the blonde womanâs face had vanished, replaced with anger and envy.
As they gathered their belongings, Rosaline couldnât resist throwing a parting remark over her shoulder. âWeâll leave the room to you. Enjoy the view. But donât get any ideas about taking the presidential suiteâyouâd need a bit more than ten thousand dollars for that!â
The blonde woman seethed as the Lorpond contestants made their exit, victorious in a battle they hadnât expected to win.
