Chapter 901
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 901:
Sensing his emotions, Madisyn gently said, âUncle Luka, no matter what happens, weâll always be family.â
It was clear to her that her mother missed Luka deeply, and Luka shared those feelings. His eyes grew misty, and he nodded with conviction. âYouâre right. Weâre family. Madisyn, ask your mom if sheâs free tomorrow evening. Iâd like us all to have dinner together.â
As the elder sibling, he knew it was his responsibility to bridge the gap. A bright smile spread across Madisynâs face. âAlright, Uncle Luka, Iâll ask her.â
Feeling that the matter had been settled, she took her leave.
Jared sat waiting for Madisyn in the car, a sense of unease hanging over him. He hadnât anticipated that one of his subordinates would resort to such harsh tacticsâespecially when it concerned Madisynâs uncle.
âBoss, Iâll make sure that person faces serious consequences when I return. Our group has no tolerance for coercion or deception,â Jared assured her.
Madisyn nodded calmly. âI understand. Just fire him.â
âUnderstood, boss,â Jared replied. Then, he caught a glimpse of a faint smile tugging at Madisynâs lips. The sight left him stunned. After everything that had happened, how could she not be angry and even smile? He couldnât figure it out. Keeping his thoughts to himself, he focused on driving Madisyn home safely.
Once they arrived, Madisyn stepped into her parentsâ villa. Elaine, who had just finished setting the dinner table, lit up with joy seeing Madisyn.

âYouâre home! Come, have dinner with us.â
âOf course,â Madisyn replied with a warm smile.
Dinner was cozy, filled with warmth and quiet conversation. Elaine asked curiously, âDid your designer friend end up working with your uncle?â
âYes, everything is progressing smoothly,â Madisyn confirmed.
âThatâs good,â Elaine said with a nod before adding, âHave you spoken to your uncle lately?â
âI have,â Madisyn replied simply.
Elaine looked as though she had more to say but hesitated for a moment. Sensing her motherâs hesitation, Madisyn said, âMom, Uncle Luka wanted me to pass along a message to you.â
âWhat is it?â Elaine asked, her heart skipping a beat in anticipation.
âHe invited us to join him for dinner tomorrow,â Madisyn explained.
The words left Elaine momentarily speechless. She had always assumed Luka wouldnât want to reconnect with her. A wave of bittersweet emotion hit Elaine. Her brother must have missed her too, despite the years she had spent keeping her distance.
âAlright, letâs go together,â she finally said.
