Chapter 26

"Sorry guys, bumped into Caleb, but escaped. Don't worry, everything is going to be fine. I'm going to be fine" I try to convince myself more than I try to convince Jade

I turn around and jump back in shock.

"Wouldn't be too sure about that, Cherry"

Now

I immediately stop and freeze.

Wait. How the hell is this possible? This can't be true. How did he get here? Dang, I shouldn't have talked to Caleb. This wouldn't be happening AND I wouldn't be scared of Mark again.

"Surprised to see me?" He creepily laughs and walks closer to me.

I back away, but feel two strong arms around me. I struggle to get out of the person's grip, but he is way too freaking strong for me.

"Take someone from your own size" I huff as I move my legs like a seal

Where did all the damn people go? Why is no one around?

"Alex! Sh*t!" I hear from the other side of the phone, before it falls out of my hands

"I'm at the huge Ferris wheel with the Mickey Mouse on it"

"That's right in front of us!" It surprises me that I can still hear Jade scream.

I see Caleb walking towards me and he hits me across my face with his fist.

It takes all of me to keep my mouth shut. If I know Caleb, he wouldn't appreciate it and he would probably get his knife again.

He signals the person who holds me to follow him and he starts walking away, with me in his arms

"Alex!" I hear Jade yell from behind me

"John! Take her to the car, right now!" Caleb shouts at the man holding me. He nods and turns to the exit right away.

I look behind us and see that Mason is trying to fight both Caleb and Mark of him, while Jade runs after me.

She takes a look at someone walking on two crutches and grabs one of them. She apologizes, before running after me again.

Oh god, she did so not steal a crutch from a person with a broken leg. I almost burst out laughing, but decide that it's probably better to keep Johnsay on my side.

Jade gestures me to start talking to John, so he's not watching her.

"Hey you, John right? You know, why don't we stay a little longer here. I'm sure you love Disney. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, why don't we go take a picture with, ehm," I quickly look around for something to say, "GOOFY!" I say excitedly when I spot him

I see Goofy turn around and wave at us. I gesture him to come to us, but before he can even reach us, John lets me go with one hand, but still holds me tight with the other one.

"Stay there or something bad happens" Johnsay threatens Goofy

"Awh, how unfair, threatening poor, innocent and sweet Goofy. Don't you have a heart?"

From the corner of my eyes, Jade walks towards us. Okay, now I know I shouldn't find this situation funny, but come on.

She looks scared, but confident at the same time. She wears her Mickey Mouse ears, just like me. She wears this really cute dress with Mickey on it and has a crutch in her hand. And she approaches a man -who is threatening Goofy and holds a girl in his arm- from behind with the crutch high above her head.

BONK!

The grip of John loosens and he falls to the ground. I quickly mumble a sorry to Goofy, who doesn't say anything. Jade grabs my hand and pulls me away from the scene.

I take one last glance at the scene, seeing Goofy holding John and calling someone, my guess is security.

"Alex, at our right, more of them" I look to our right and see the other 3 dudes approach us.

God fréaking dámmit.

We run towards the Ferris wheel as fast as we can. Those bodybuilders aren't really fast runners, so that's good.

We spot Mason as he hits Caleb in his face. Again. And again. And again. Until he falls down. Right next to an unconscious Mark. Wow. I'm impressed.

"Mason, run!" I shout at him and he quickly looks around him.

He smiles when he sees us.

"To the hotel" Jade says

Mason yells some very pretty words when he spots the rest of the dudes. Yeah, I settled on calling them the 'dudes', because I'm just so original *eye roll at myself*.

"Where are all the students and teachers?" I ask and look around

"Somewhere In the park I guess" Mason mumbles

"I'm so sorry guys"

Why do I attract problems? What did I do to deserve this? Was it so wrong to not sleep with Caleb, even though I said I loved him. Why is he doing this? Should I just give myself to him? At least he would leave my friends and family alone. Maybe that's the best idea. Then all of this drama will be over.

I was so lost in thought, that I didn't even notice we entered our room already.

"Thanks guys, I would probably be far away from here if it wasn't for you" I smile at them

Mason grabs an ice pack from the small fridge in the room, wraps it in a small towel and hands it to me. I put it on my head and mumble a thanks to him.

"That's why we're here, to save you from the bad guys" Mason winks

"That and a lot of other things" Jade smiles

"You should get some rest" Mason smiles

"Where is she? Is everything okay? What the hell happened? How is she? Someone open the dámn door!" I hear from outside our door

Mason opens the door and Jake, Connor and Tyler storm in.

Here we go again with an explanation. Sigh.

"Before you guys can say anything else. I'm fine, Mason and Jade are fine as well. It was only Caleb who tried shít on me again, nothing big"

"Guys, shoo, get out of here. She needs her rest" Jade points to the door and they leave pouting again.

"Mason, you too" she pushes him out of the room, closes the door and locks it.

"Now, you are going to sleep and I'm staying here with you" she smiles and I nod.

She cleans the bed and her motherly side comes out. It's really cute to see.

"Yes mom" I smile before getting underneath the blanket.

I'm not even sleepy.

I close my eyes and try to sleep, but it's not working.

This trip had to be one of the best things in my life and now it turned out like this. I did not only ruin my own trip, I ruined my friends and strangers trips too. I'm such a b*tch.

I start to feel very self-conscious, but I try to force myself to go to sleep.

I hear Mason whisper something to Jade. I thought Jade pushed him out of the room?

"Who knew when we first met her, that she had to deal with all of this shit. She's a really strong girl"

"Yeah, she is. You like her, don't you?"

And before I can hear his answer, I drift off to sleep.

"What did the head teacher say?"

"That she can't do anything about it, there's no proof"

"You told the head teacher?" I immediately jump out of bed as the words leave my mouth and stand like a flamingo. I quickly put my other leg on the floor and mentally face palm myself.

"He actually came to us, Caleb told him that I beat him up for no reason. So we told him what really happened. I have no clue if he actually believes us, but I do know that he 'can't do anything about it'. Which I do not agree on by the way" Mason says in one breath.

"Now, you have to tell us what the hell just happened" Jade smiles

"And we want to know too" Jake, Connor and Tyler walk in and I groan

Mason smiles reassuringly at me and I start talking.

"Let's go to the haunted house" Jake smirks

"Uh" I hesitate

"Is someone scared?" Mason smirks and amusedly raises one eyebrow at me

"Don't worry, I'm sure Mason will protect you from all the monsters" Jake wiggles his eyebrows and nudges Mason in the side

"Shut it Jake" Mason groans

We get in line of the haunted house.

"This is not the haunted house I was in yesterday" I say confused

"They have two of them. I guess this is the other one" Jake explains and I nod

We walk inside the haunted house, after waiting for 45 freaking minutes.

"Do I have to come?"

"Yes, now walk" Mason pushes me forward

I scream and back away, when a I-don't-know-how-to-explain-it creature pops up in front of me.

Mason grabs his stomach laughing, "This is the best thing ever." he continuous laughing at the not so funny scene.

"Hey, I don't think this is funn- AAHH, GO AWAY" I scream again

"I rest my case" Mason burst out laughing again and wipes some spilled tears away

"Hey, guys! Don't leave me alone with this grasshopper!" I sprint to Jake and Jade, who are walking away from us

"Hey, I'm not a grasshopper"

I turn around and give him an are-you-kidding-me look.

"Pff, you wish you weren't boy" I say in a sassy voice. I honestly don't know why I decided on that...

"Whoa! Back off dude"

"HA! He scared you!" I laugh as I point at him

Mason just rolls his eyes as he walks towards me.

"Jesus! For goodness sake, just leave me alone!"

"Come, let's walk further. I will protect you" Mason smirks and winks as he flexes his arms

I skip after Mason, but apparently I'm not walking fast enough for mister.

"Turtle" he teases

"I'm fine with being a turtle, they're cute as hell"

A really scary clown pops up.

"I wouldn't try to scare her if you don't want to go deaf" Mason quickly warns the poor human being in the clown suit.

The clown stops walking and puts his hands in the air in defeat.

"You two make a cute couple" the person inside says, before walking off

"Is he or she even supposed to talk?" I raise my eyebrow, ignoring his or her comment

It's a good thing it's dark here, because my cheeks are definitely red.

"No, I don't think so, but who am I to disagree", he smirks, "Now get on my back"

I pout as I flamingo jump on his back.

Okay, I honestly gotta stop this 'flamingo' thing that I have going on.

"You're really cute when you're scared, Little A"

"Why does everybody like to embarrass me?" I mumble, hoping he didn't hear me

"Because you're cute when you're embarrassed"

"Stop"

"Why?"

"Because you're embarrassing me again" I whine

"That's the point, smartáss"

"Walk"

We are FINALLY outside of the haunted house. That's definitely something I'm not doing again.

"I'm never ever doing that again"

"Never say never" Mason starts to quote the song from Justin Bieber, much to my disgrace. Sorry to all of his fans out there!

"Nope, we're not singing Justin Bieber songs. Not happening" I shake my head as I get of Mason's back

"But baby, baby, baby ooohhh" he continuous to sign

"Mason, you're embarrassing"

"If I was your boyfriend, I'll never let you goooo"

"Mason! Stop the torture" I put my hand on his mouth to stop him from singing.

"Little A, you're as slow as a freaking turtle" Jake groans

"Hey! Stop using turtles as an insult. They're cute" I slap him on his arm, feeling pretty offended for the turtles

"Where we going?" I ask looking around

Mason points to a freaking big rollercoaster.

"Don't tell me you're scared of them too" he sighs

"No, of course not" I sigh extravagantly as I roll my eyes

It's finally our turn and I'm being helped by a kinda hot employee if I'm being honest.

"Can I take a picture of you, to prove all my friends that angels do exist?" he asks me and I almost burst out laughing if it wasn't for Mason, who was clenching his fists and locking his jaw.
