Chapter 9
The Valiant Farmgirl's Blackhearted Husband Wants a Hug
Just as she was about to kick, a sound finally came from inside the door.
âComing!â It was Wang Dashan.
Only then did Qin Xiaoyao put her foot down.
She thought to herself, âIf you have the ability, you can hide like turtles forever!â
After a while, Wang Dashan came to open the door.
When he saw Qin Xiaoyao, his face was filled with displeasure.
âWho are you looking for?â He didnât move aside but stood squarely within the doorway and asked.
Qin Xiaoyao furrowed her brows.
âLooking for your mother!â she replied straight away.
When Wang Dashan saw Qin Xiaoyaoâs expression, he felt even more disgusted.
âMy mother is not free. And donât come looking for her in the future.â He prepared to close the door after saying this.
However, Qin Xiaoyao stuck her foot out and stopped the door from closing.
Wang Dashan frowned and was about to reprimand this woman who didnât know her place.
However, Qin Xiaoyao simply pushed the door open forcefully.
He was caught off guard and was pushed back by the door, stumbling backward a few steps.
Wang Dashan was furious. He was about to curse, but Qin Xiaoyao spoke first.
âI was free when you borrowed money and rice and flour from me! Now that Iâm asking you to return the things, how come you are not free?â Qin Xiaoyao shouted into the courtyard.
She took a glance at Wang Dashan, who looked like he was ready to rush over and fight with her, so she went up to him directly.
âThe rice and flour that your mother borrowed all went into your stomach, right?â
âYour mother begged me to lend her money to seek treatment for your illness and help you recuperate. She said that no one in the village was willing to lend her money.â
âShe also said that the entire Brook Falls Village is full of ungrateful people. Iâm the only good one in the village who was willing to lend her money!â
âWell, now. Youâve recovered from your illness, and your body is well now. You have even gone to work in town! Yet youâve already forgotten your benefactor?â
Qin Xiaoyao walked toward Wang Dashan step by step, looking confident and self-righteous.
This revelation caused the enraged Wang Dashanâs expression to change drastically.
It was because he didnât know about these things.
Before he went to work in town, he had indeed suffered from the common cold. He had been very sick at the time and had taken a lot of medicine.
At that point, he had wondered why his family had the money to buy so much medicine for him. Could it beâ¦
Thinking that what Qin Xiaoyao said might be true, Wang Dashan felt so guilty that he couldnât even lift his head.
âIâm really blind with my copper coins, rice, and flour! Iâve fed such an ungrateful person like you!â Seeing Wang Dashanâs expression, Qin Xiaoyao pressed on in an unforgiving manner.
âQin Sanya, stop your goddamn nonsense!â
Just then, Aunt Wang rushed over like a hen protecting its chicks.
She held a rod in her hand and pointed it at Qin Xiaoyao, shielding Wang Dashan behind her.
âYou gave me the copper coins, rice and flour willingly. When did I ever borrow them from you?â Under Qin Xiaoyaoâs gaze, Aunt Wang acted in an unashamed and overbearing manner.
Qin Xiaoyao furrowed her brows at the sight of this ugly face.
She reached out with her hand and swiftly grabbed the rod in Aunt Wangâs hand.
âYou think I have too much fucking money so I gave you to save your ingrate here? You think I have too much rice and flour so I gave them to you to feed this bastard?â She continued to yell at the top of her voice.
At the same time, she exerted some strength and snatched the rod away, then threw it away.
Aunt Wang wanted to hold onto the rod, but Qin Xiaoyao pushed her back with force, and she fell to the ground on her backside.
âOh my! Murder! Qin Sanya is going to kill me! Someone, come and save me!â Aunt Wang immediately started wailing.
The sound was like a pig being slaughtered, and it was very ear-piercing.
Unfortunately, Qin Xiaoyao was not afraid at all.
She even picked up the rod that she had thrown away just now.
âHmph, murder? Then if I donât fucking kill you today, wouldnât I be wronged by you?â She said in a menacing tone.
Holding that rod, she made her way toward Aunt Wang step by step.
At this moment, Qin Xiaoyaoâs entire body exuded a bloodthirsty glow and appeared extremely ruthless. It was as if she would really kill someone.
Wang Dashanâs legs turned to jelly.
Aunt Wang also stopped crying unconsciously.
âIâm asking again. Are you paying back or not?â Qin Xiaoyaoâs eyes were filled with murderous intent as she pointed the rod at Aunt Wang sitting on the ground.
If this had happened in her previous life, she would not have wasted time arguing with her and would have killed her long ago.
This was because she hated shrews like her the most.
Aunt Wang was frightened speechless, and a hint of hesitation flashed in her eyes.
Wang Dashan, on the other hand, was scared out of his wits. He quickly ran to his mother.
âPay! Iâll pay back everything she owed you!â He hurriedly said.
Wang Dashan wanted to say it in a righteous and magnanimous manner, but faced with Qin Xiaoyaoâs glare, he could barely finish uttering his words.
...
There was no imposing manner whatsoever at all.
Qin Xiaoyaoâs expression only improved a little after hearing this.
âWhy didnât you say so earlier?â She looked at Wang Dashan in annoyance.
She exerted force with her hands and easily broke the wooden rod, which was as thick as a thumb, into two.
This scene horrified the mother and son again.
âThatâs seventy-five copper coins in total, plus ten bowls of brown rice and five bowls of flour.â
As she spoke, Qin Xiaoyao handed over the bowl in her hand.
âUse this bowl. Also, when I was filling the bowls, every bowl was heaped high.â Qin Xiaoyao continued.
When Aunt Wang heard this, she wanted to refute it.
However, she was warned by her son with an eye signal, so she kept her mouth shut.
âOkay! You wait here.â Wang Dashan said. He turned around and went back into the house.
...
Aunt Wang looked at her sonâs departing back profile and suddenly felt a little aggrieved.
âHmph! Looks like I was wrong. The Dashan still has some conscience.â Qin Xiaoyao glanced at Aunt Wang and said icily.
Aunt Wang quickly turned back and glared at Qin Xiaoyao before getting up from the ground.
If making a scene was useless, then why was she still sitting on the ground?
âHmph, Qin Sanya! Youâd better pray that your Song family wonât ever need to come to our Wang family for help!â If she didnât say something ruthless, Aunt Wang felt she wouldnât be able to swallow the anger in her heart.
Yet if her words were too ruthless, she was afraid that it would make Qin Sanya go mad with anger, so she simply uttered a relatively mild statement.
Qin Xiaoyao raised her eyebrows and smiled at Aunt Wang.
âDonât worry. That day will never come.â
âAs for you, even if someone in your family dies in the future and you need help, donât come to the Song family to ask for help,â she said in response.
Under Aunt Wangâs furious gaze, Qin Xiaoyao continued, âAnyway, itâs enough to be bitten once by an ingrate.â
âYouâ¦â Aunt Wang pointed at Qin Xiaoyao in rage.
However, Qin Xiaoyao reached out with her hand and swept away the finger that Aunt Wang pointed at her.
âMe? Iâm very good! Iâll be happier than you and will live longer than you.â
âI think you didnât really hear what I said to you at the foot of the mountain.â As she spoke, Qin Xiaoyao looked in the direction where Wang Dashan had just left.
âIf you mess with me again, Iâll go to my father and ask him to chat more often with Boss Chen. Like telling him about how your family owes money and doesnât pay it back, being an ingrate, and so forth.â
âAs they say, like mother, like son. Letâs see if Boss Chen still wants to retain your Dashanâs services at that point!â
Aunt Wangâs face trembled with rage. âYou⦠how dare you...â
Qin Xiaoyao simply laughed out loud.
âHehe, why wouldnât I dare? If you provoke me, Iâll even dare to kill you!â As she spoke, Qin Xiaoyao looked at Aunt Wang menacingly again.
