Pack training day

Isabella's Point Of View

I was up with the sunrise, prepared to join in today with the pack during their usual morning training that always kicks off by seven. My leg seemed to be healing like magic so I was in a perfect condition to train. I really needed to go for a run badly, and I needed to exercise.

I quickly got into the bathroom to fulfill my morning routines. I brushed my teeth then I got dressed in an ash crop top and gray sweatpants.

"Morning Belle." I spotted Gabe downstairs in the kitchen, he was preparing a sandwich that simply looked delectable. I could hear my stomach growl at the sight.

"Good morning Gabe!" I said as I quickly stretched and took one of the finished sandwiches to eat. I felt my eyes open wide immediate after the first bite, I didn't know a sandwich could taste so heavenly. It was no doubt the best sandwich that I have ever tasted.

"Hey, that was mine." He groaned while I just laughed.

"Sorry. I was very hungry." I said, with a cute smile and he just chuckled, cutting another one.

"It's fine. But why are you up so early? It's just nine minutes past seven and you could still be in bed, I know I would if I had a choice." He said, as we both took bites out of our sandwiches.

"Yeah, I wanted to join the training with the pack today. My leg is already healed up. See." I said, demonstrating to him how much better I had already gotten, I was completely healed physically and free from Alectryon's poison. I really needed to train today.

"Hmm– You heal really quick for a witch, even as fast as a werewolf. Okay, but we need to quickly get to the training ground before Godzilla makes us run extra laps." Gabe said with a dreadfully look, finishing up his sandwich was quickly as possible.

"Who's Godzilla?" I asked as we moved outside, heading to the training ground.

"Stefanie Chantaca. She is in charge of training because she thinks she is the best fighter in the pack." Gabe scoffs "And she is kinda intense and really scary but don't tell her I said that."

We finally arrived at the massive training ground. All the werewolves were training and fighting against themselves. I look and it's legit. There's a huge track field with insane obstacles outside, with dummies to spar against, there even looks to be an archery section, and close to the lake there were werewolves in their wolves form, training fiercely against each other.

I could see Dimitri standing there in a simple white shirt and black sweatpants, his arms crossed as he's listening to what Lance is telling him. There is a girl also there with them. I didn't know who she was, I haven't seen her around the pack betore. She had short brown hair and was really pretty. Her eyes were a pair of dazzling hazel brown orbs. She was wearing a neon pink Nike sports bra and shorts that really brought out all her assets, this didn't really seem training appropriate if you asked me but whatever, it seem to get her alll the attention she craved. Most males that stood there were just drooling over her as she stood there smiling and laughing at whatever Dimitri was saying. I knew Dimitri and he wasn't even that comical to say the least he didn't have a single funny bone in him, so why the hell was barbie laughing over there.

I watch closely, paying close attention to Dimitri's eye movement in case he has wandering eyes on her body, but thankfully his eyes are trained on Lance, still talking to him.

Oh goddess! What the hell was I doing right now? I needed to stop, why was I behaving like an insanely insecure jealous girlfriend right now. It wasn't as though Dimitri was mine or anything. He wasn't mine so I needed to quit having these silly jealous thoughts.

I say to myself trying to resist the urge to inquire about who the girl was.

'I don't care… I don't care who she is.’

"Gabe, who is that girl?" I whisper to Gabe, against my better judgement.

"Her? That is Godzilla. Our trainer." Gabe answered. My eyes widened at Gabe's words to me. She looks over at us, her eyes meeting mine, she then gave a smile as she approached.

"Okay guys. I want us to start with a sparring test. Anyone want to go first?" Godzilla-- I mean Stefanie said, eyeing everyone. Everyone was really hiding from her gaze, they were afraid of her. Why were they terrified of her?

"Seriously, no one dares fighting against me? Kael, would you be so kind in helping us to demonstrate?" She said with a flirtatious smirk at the werewolf, Kael. He was a very muscular wolf, wearing a black short and a black sleeveless shirt which only served to show off his huge biceps.

"I thought you would never ask. Let's dance gorgeous." Kael said approaching her. He eyed Stefanie up and down with a grin and a cocky smile.

"I'm ready whenever you are big boy." She retorted with a smile.

I watched as Kael reached for her shoulder but instead she caught his arm twisting it and smashing in against with her elbow. He threw the first punch which she easily dodged, sending a punch across his face.

"Fuck. That really hurt." Kael huffs.

"Not as much as this will darling." She says, delivering an uppercut and a super flying kick to his chest, sending the six feet man falling to the ground.

She jumped on top of him, pinning him down to the ground and her fist raised above his head.

"Want to give up yet, Kael or you want me to continue?" She asked, holding him down with her leg.

"Ok I am getting something really mixed feeling's about this. God you're beautiful." Kael uttered, all out of breath as she just rolled her eyes and got off of him.

"Anyone else want to try?" She asked, looking at the crowd, her eyes finally rests on me with a confident smile.

"I'll try." I said, causing a lot of heads to turn at me in surprise. I could vaguely register the look on Dimitri's face, he just stood there watching what was going on from a distance.

I moved to the center to join Stefanie. From what I gathered in her fight with Kael she was vastly trained in martial art and hand to hand combat. She was good, I just needed to be better and faster than all her attacks. And most importantly I needed to be smarter.

“Okay Luna. Let's see what you can actually do and if you are even worthy of that title.” Stefanie averred, as we circled each other, sizing one another up.

She fiercely lunged and attacked me with her fists, I raised up both my hands in an attempt to shield my face as she pounded on me furiously. I continued to block all her attacks, dismissing all her advances without even sending a single strike.

"Stop hiding and face me Isabella." She said as she continued throwing powerful punches at me until she became worn out, I knew that this was my opening to end this. Then I took advantage of the moment when she least expected it by serving her with a blow to her nose and another to her throat. She tried sending a hit but I quickly sidestepped, kicking her straight in the ribs. She swung again but missed, in retaliation I delivered numerous direct hits targeted at her chest. I immediately kicked her knees causing her to fall down to the ground. I was about to go in for a finish when she raised up her hand as submission.

"I submit, alright." Stefanie breathed out heavily. I gave her a hand, lifting her up as the pack cheered. I was swooped up by Gabe on his shoulders.

"Wow! I can't believe you won against her. No one has ever done that before." Gabe said with a smile, in the middle of the crowded pack. I looked over at Dimitri and I could register the look on his face. He looked like he was proud of me. He took pride in my victory. Everyone there cheered and congratulated me before Stefanie finally ordered that we go for a run. She was the only one that seemed to be in a sour mood, well that's understandable, I did just make her submit in front of the entire pack. Who knew pack training could be so fun.
