RAGHAV POV

After few seconds I softly whispered near her ears

Raghav: open your beautiful eyes Siya...

She still didn't open her eyes. I really don't appreciate when someone don't react to my words. I'm an impatient person and my biwi is testing my patience today.

I chuckled and asked again.

Raghav: open your eyes please Siya. Let me look at what's mine.

She shook her head slightly and push me and started walking away but I held her hand and pull her towards me. Due to the sudden action, she bumped into my chest. She look at me and tried to release herself from my hold, why she is behaving like this? Why she is pushing me? She never did that untill now she so what's changed? I'm same she is same then why she is pushing me?

She is still trying to free herself. So I speak in s strict tone, it's for the first time I'm using it on Siya. But atleast she should tell me what's going on in her mind because she never pushed me before and I hate it the most. I hate it when she I pushing me. Atleast she should tell me the reason or atleast speak up if she's not comfortable.

"Enough Siya" I said and she flinched and stopped struggling. I'm sorry Siya I'm doing this to you but I feel it's necessary.

"Why are you pushing me away, you never did it before. What's going on in your mind will you tell me?" I asked.

She still didn't answer and continue looking downwards.

Raghav (strict and little angry)

"I'm asking something Siya and wherever I'm talking to you I want your eyes on me not downwards. We both are equals, you should always talking to me while your eyes are looking in mine. You get it?" I asked in a more authoritative tone. She nodded looking downwards.

"I don't think so, Siya look at me when I'm talking" I said and this time she looked at me.

"Good now never I repeat never ever push me away Siya I hate it. I will not do anything bad or anything without your permission but just don't push me I hate it. It makes me mad, you will never push me away, got it? (Siya nodded again) use your mouth Siya. I need answer in words" I said.

Siya (while shuttering) : y..yes, g...got it

Looking at her shuttering made me a bit sad. I think I scared her, I was never my intention. This time I softened my and said, "Good now answer me why are you pushing me?.....Siya...."

She look at me directly in my eyes. It's Like her eyes are saying a million words but I still am not able to understand.

I cupped her face softly and asked, "What happened Siya why are you behaving like this? You are un..uncomfortable if I t..touch y..you?". Siya instantly look at me and shook her head as a no. That's a relief!

"Then are you nervous?....(she again looked down) shy?....you are not ready...ready to live as husband wife? NO?.....then a..afraid? A...afraid of me?...... in..insecure?

Not getting any reaction from Siya I start getting angry and asked in anger,

"I'm asking something Siya, give me the damn answer! Look I'm really a very impatient person so don't test it and answer me why are you not letting me touch you? What is the reason. Use your mouth. I'm asking hukum!" I shouted the last words and Siya flinched and answered slowly.

"I....I am....I am s..scared... insecure. Y....you h..have a g..great e..effect o..on me. A..and no one.. ever t..touched m..me t..that why.

W..what I.. if y..you... what if you...." She said in a soft voice while crying.

I can't see tears in my girl's eyes. Never it's like a hard punch on my heart. And it's hurt more when I'm the reason behind it. I take her to balcony and we sat there.

When she didn't continue I asked softly while wiping her tears

Raghav: I what Siya? Continue I want to know what are you insecure and scared about.

After some seconds Siya spoke up in a very tiny voice. God, if I wasn't sitting so close to her I wouldn't be able to hear her.

"w..what I.. if you w..won't li..like me? After s..seeing me. I..I'm n..not co..confi..confident ee..enough right now. And...and I don't want to...." Siya said.

Raghav: you don't want to.... aage kya Siya

[Complete your sentence Siya]

Siya: n..no nothing

Raghav: Siya you were about to say something. You should finish it

Siya: m..Maine ka..ha na ki it's nothing

Raghav: ok I won't force you more. And also Siya you don't have to be insecure about yourself or our relationship. I won't do anything which you don't like or something that will hurt you or bring tears in your eyes. Siya your eyes are my my!.... They are so precious so please don't bring tears in it. And also why are you insecure do you think that I will go to someone else?.............. Siya you have to trust me please. Don't you trust me?

Siya: I do. But... but what if...what if someone will come

Raghav: then that someone won't come between us Siya. Trust is the foundation of any relationship. You have your full faith in me but you are not confident on your faith. Siya you have to be confident enough or else how will we make this relationship successful if you are not confident? If you are not confident and will be insecure then how will we fight with all the other things life throws at us like.... jealousy, anger, misunderstanding, doubts, sorrow moment. There are many more. We will have to let go of these insecurities right?... We will have to be confident. I'm here Siya, always. If there is a problem we talk to each other and get the solution. That is the best way. If one of us will just jump to any solution and the other one is not aware of it, it will lead to further problems. You get me?

Siya nodded and I held her hands in mine.

Raghav: And siya you are my goddess, my most beautiful girl in this universe, my most cutest, prettiest, girl which my heart desire, you are just.....just so perfect Siya, you're magnificent to me....you are my passion,my affection, my devotion, my desires I'm longing for since when? I don't know, you are my precious possession, my eagerness, my treasure, my respect, my craving, my warmth, my ....my everything Siya. How can I go to some one else leaving you? What will I have if I lose you? Loosing you is like loosing myself Siya. I know I know I'm so bad, I'm always angry, cold, ruthless, dominating, possessive, and so much more but Siya I still need you... I want you, my eyes want you, my ears wants your voice your laugh. My nose needs your soothing smell, my lips need your name, my heart need your heart. I need your affection, your care, your life ,your touch I need you in my life.

I didn't know when a lone tear left my eyes while Siya too has tears in hers.

Raghav: Siya jese bhagwan Ram ke sath Sita maa ka name lag jata hai. Jese unke name ke bina bhagwan Ram ka name aadhura lagta hai, vese hi mujhe bhi mera naam Siya tumhare naam ke bina aadhura lagta hai. Tumhare bina ek din bhi nikaalna ab mai nahi soch sakta. RAGHAV KI SIYA aur SIYA KE RAGHAV yeh kabhi bhi change nahi ho sakta. Mai hone hi nahi dunga.

[Siya the way Lord Ram is always associated with Goddess Sita's name. The way without Goddess Sita's name His name sounds incomplete, the same way Siya without your name my name sounds incomplete, is incomplete. It's impossible for me to spend a day without you. You are mine and I'm yours and that will never change. I won't let it change ever]

Siya slowly hugged my, her eyes were filled with tears.

She asked, "Am I that important for you?"

Raghav: you can't even imagine Siya. I'm scared myself because of this phase, it's so fast for me too because I never even looked at someone like I look at you. I too don't know when you become so important to me. But I just know that I don't ever want to loss you. (Darkly) I will never let anyone come between us. Never let you go and never leave you. So now try to not be insecure and I must say you still need to learn how to read my eyes. You still can't read them deeply you need practice to read what my heart desire so deeply but its not letting it reach to my eyes. So from today you will look into my eyes only ok?

Siya nodded slightly

Siya: is it? I got it I'm ready to do more practice but what about you. Can you even read my eyes?

Raghav: what if I say the words which I just said are also the lines you want to say for me? What if I say you too have the same thoughts about me like I do? What if I say you to have the same feelings that I feel. But just the difference is Siya you are running behind that one word only, but in that don't forget all the other and more important words which I say.

Siya: I'm not forgetting any of them I remember no my heart remembers it like it remember my secret and precious memories so it won't be forgotten. And also if you know that I'm running behind that word only then why don't you give it to me?

AUTHOR'S POV

He slowly gets closer to her and takes her on his lap and this time she didn't protests because she thinks she should be confident for their relationship otherwise because of her stupidity she would do something wrong. And she too is comfortable after what Raghav said. Its gives her confident, that she is worthfull and priorized.

Raghav: What's the point Siya?.... what's the point when that word won't be able to describe half of the things I feel. What's the point of using that word when it will just give you a minute happiness? when all thesevwords will be kept secure in your heart forever. Infront of my feeling for you this

'love you' word is too small. Sorry my queen but this word is not enough to describe the purity and depthness of my feelings. When all the above words were not enough then what is this word? Nothing

Siya: then how should I describe my feelings. I can't read your eyes like you read mine.

Raghav: what is the need when I'm doing the work of both. When I'm describing everything both of us feel then what is the need for you to describe anything just look in my eyes. I don't want anything else.

Siya: Hukum, your eyes whispered much more than what you said.

Raghav: what does it says?

Siya: you don't know.

Raghav: I don't Siya come on tell me.

Siya: phir kabhi. Aabhi tho puri zindagi padi hai.

[I'll tell you some other day. We have our whole life to discuss it]

Raghav: vese yeh bhi hai.

[Yeah that works too]

Siya: the moon looks beautiful right?

Raghav: hmm

Siya: hukum you know something?

Raghav: what?

He asked while playing with her hair and she put her head on his chest feeling relaxed.

Siya: the moon is the one who comes to knows our secrets.

You know in day time whatever we do is witnessed by sun.

But in night time whatever we do is witnessed by the moon not only that but whatever our heart feels is also witnessed by it.

Because in day time because of the rays of sun we can't look at it but when night comes we talk to the moon we directly or indirectly look at moon and share every thing to it. The moom talks with our eyes, all it needs is a chance and it will reveal every secret.

So moon is our secret keeper while sun knows what we done in the day.

Raghav (just smiles and hugs her): very thoughtful

Siya: that I am (feeling proud)

After a few minutes of comfortable silence Siya said, "Hukum?"

"Hmm, what is it Siya?" He asked.

"Please don't ever raise your voice at me like you did today. I felt so scared. I don't like that feeling. You are the one I will come to when I'm scared but if you are theone of whom I'm scared where will I go? Please don't do that again" Sje said timidly.

"I'm sorry Siya. I won't do it again. I'll try to improve myself. I'll be more patient with you. I'm sorry I shouted at you on your first night home and worst I made you cry. I feel so guilty Siya, I'm sorry. I was just mad at the fact that you don't feel confident enough about this relationship that you can't share your problems with me but I get it I didn't make efforts to improve you confident on the other hand I yelled at you and ruined it. I won't do it, I'll improve Hukum, I'll make you trust our relationship more than anything" Raghav apologized.

"You understanding me and being by my side is all I need Hukum" Siya said as she nuzzle in the crook of Raghav's neck and found a comfort place in his arms. While Raghav prepped her head with soft kisses.

They stayed like that, feeling each other's warmth. But a chill breeze flew, making Raghav realize that they should head inside and sleep, it's already past midnight.

Raghav: Siya we should sleep now.

When he didn't get any answer he looked down to see Siya is already sleeping.

He smiled and carried her to the room and made her sleep on the bed. He cuddled her, kept his head on her shoulder and went to dream land.

NEXT MORNING

SIYA'S POV

My sleep broke because of a peacock's squawk, I slowly opened my eyes, and looked outside its early in morning what the time is it?

The clock says its 5:30 am, like always I search for my phone. But I feel a heavy weight on my chest.

There my handsome husband is sleeping putting his head on my chest while holding me by my waist tightly. I blush looking at him. He looks sooo cute while sleeping.

If I say this when he is awake then he for sure will get angry. But it's true even his beard and this mustache fails to make him look rough, he looks soo soo cute.

Hayeee bhagwan, thank you just thank you soo much for giving me this men.

Always make him happy god, give my everything to him, never bring a single tear in his eye. God give him every happiness of this world.

Suddenly the alarm ring bring me out of my thoughts, after turn off the alarm, so his sleep doesn't get disturbed. I slowly come out of his hold and layed his head on a pillow. I slowly move towards him and kissed his forehead slightly and smiled.

After that I went to get ready. I wore the saree given by Prashant uncle and Revti aunty. Thank God it wasnt too heavy, well it a little but not too much or else it's really difficult for me to handle them and make me drain out.

I glanced at my sleeping husband one last time before going downstairs as its already around 7. When I reached downstairs I saw dadi sa, badi ma, and maa in living room. It looks like they too come just now.

Siya: good morning dadi sa, badi maa and maa

I said and took their blessings.

Dadi sa: very good morning beta, iitni jaldi kyun uuthi thoda aur so leti aabhi to bahut der hai breakfast ko.

[Why did you wake up so early? It's still very early for breakfast]

Siya: voh bas aankh khulgai dadi sa.

[I just woke up and wasn't able to sleep again]

Rohini: roj eese jaldi uuthti ho ?

[Do you wake up so early everyday?]

Siya: nahi maa!! Even I'm shocked because I'm a heavy sleeper. It's just happen how I don't know.

[No mom, even I'm shocked]

Akshita: good morning dadi sa, badi maa, maa. Good morning Siya

Siya: good morning babhi.

Meera: Chalo hum garden mai beth ke chaii ke sath gapshup karte hai.

[Let's go sit in the garden, have some tea and spill some tea too]

Apeksha: mere Bina?

[Without me?]

Apeksha bhabhi said and also wished everyone good morning, and we all went to the garden and sat.

Rohini: Aree wah Siya saree tho bohot aachi hai kaha se li?

[Siya your saree is really beautiful, where did you bought it from?]

Siya: Woh, Prashant uncle aur Revti aunty ne shagun k dor pe di hai.

[Oh no, this is a shagun from Prashant uncle and Revti aunty]

Meera: it's really pretty.

Siya: hai na mujhe bhi bohot pasand aae. Aunty ne bola tha ho sake tho mai ye mere sasural k pehele din pehenu isleye aaj ye peheni.

[Right, they asked me to wear it on my first day here. Therefore I wore it today]

Menavati: Accha kiya. Waise bhi aaj karni hai ye acchi lagegi ismei.

[Good thing you did that. Moreover you also have to perform some rituals so this saree will look good]

Meera: Veer uudh gaya Apeksha? Aur tum dono ko iitni jaldi uuthne se mana kiya hai na phir kyu?

[Is Veer awake? And we've told you both to not wake up so early then why?]

Apeksha: jii maa mujhe pata hai par aankh khul jati hai aur habit hai uuski vajah se uth gaye aur yaha aae hum. Ab pure din mai yeh tho time hota hai jab ekdam shanti se hum hamara maa beti vala time spend karte hai. Varna iin logo ne tho....... aur hukum bhi jag gaye hai Ab sare bhaiyo ki maifil gym mai lagegi.

We all giggled.

[Yes mom, I know but I just woke up it's a habit I can't change it. And moreover it's the only time of the day where we can peacefully spend our mother-daughter time. Because these people..... and yes Hukum is awake now all the brothers will parade in the gym]

Suddenly my phone rings, who it can be in early morning.

It's from hukum? Why he is calling me so early.

Dadi sa: answer it Siya it must be important.

I nodded and pick up the call just to hear angry morning voice.

On call

Raghav: where are you?

Siya: amm.... in garden with everyone.

Why?

Raghav: come to the room right now?

Siya: huh!!?? Why?? K..kuch kam hai.

[Do you need me?]

Raghav: Siya maine bolana tum room mai aa mujhe aur kuch nahi sunna. Jaldi aao

He said in a demanding voice. God what's up with this man, I like him when he's sleeping he looks cute and now that the monster is awake he started roaring.

Siya: hmm

Call end

Siya: mai aabhi aayi.

[I'll be back soon]

Akshita: jayee jayee devrani jii devar jii ka bulava aaya hai. Vese kya kam hosakta hai??? ......ummm.... maybe a morning kiss

[Yes ofcourse you should go my dear Siya, my brother-in-law asked for you. What work does he has for you I wonder? ... maybe a morning kiss?]

She tease and all laughed and I blush and looking down.

Siya: ii..it's no..nothing.....nothing like...th..that

I said and went from there.

Kya kam hai iinko itne subha subha. Aur savere savere hi iitna gussa baap ree.

[What the hell does he want this early in the morning? And what's the need to be angry just after dawn?]

I entered the room only to see he is laying on the bed with his eyes closed and a frown. He opened his eyes noticing my presence.

He just continue looking at me making me self-conscious. His frown is not anymore on his forehead. He gesture me to come closer, which I follow. He pulled my hand and due to the force I fall on him but he stay unaffected and continue looking at me making me all shy. I try to stand up but

Raghav (Wishpered while looking in my eyes): it's really a bad thing to leave your husband when he is sleeping. Do you even know how much he missed you when he didn't get to see your face on morning? Siya never leave the room until I'm awake. Because I want to look at you first when I wake up. Understand?

Siya: par aap so Rahe the aur mai aapko disturb nahi...

[But you were sleeping so I didn't wanted to disturb you]

Raghav: even if I'm sleeping wake me. I will wake up to see you.

Siya: hmm

Raghav: btw looking breathe taking

He winked making me all red.

Siya: th..thanks.

Raghav: well biwi I don't mind staying like this forever but now I think I should go otherwise Veer bhaisa will eat me raw if I get late for exercise.

I came to my senses and got up immediately. He too got up and said

Raghav: Siya it will take about an hour. So till I come back please arrange my clothes.

I nodded and arranged his things and went down to see maa, badi maa in kitchen while Akshita bhabhi, dadi sa and Apeksha bhabhi is sitting and talking.

Dada sa, bade papa, and dad and were in the living room minding there own business. I went towards them and greet them, took their blessings. Then I went towards kitchen to help maa and badi maa.

Siya: amm... what should I do?

Maa: you will not do anything right now. Aabhi tho sirf iin ladko ka protein shake taiyaar ho raha hai. Vese tho breakfast, lunch and dinner hum he prepare karte hai. Humme chef ke hatho ka khana aacha he nahi lagta.

Tho tum kitchen mai aapni peheli rasoii ke vakht hi kuch kam kar sakti ho. Tab tak nahi.

[Right now we are just making protein shakes for the boys. Normally we make the food cause nobody likes the food made by any chef. So you'll only work in the kitchen for your ritual. Not before that]

Badi maa: Ruksana (one of the maid) jao jake ye proteins shake gym mai sabko de aao.

[Ruksana go give these protein shakes to boys in the gym]

Rohini (maa): vese aaj Sameer iitni jaldi uuth gaya kya? Aabhi tak usske rone ki yaa chillane ki aawaz nahi aayi.

[BTW is Sameer awake?? I don't hear his cries and screams]

Dadi saa: nahi kyun ki ekansh uuse kidnapped karke leke gaya hai gym iiss baar. Varna voh kumbhkaran to iss baar pakka veer se pitai khata.

[Yes because Ekansh kidnapped him and brought him to the gym. If he didnt do that then that sleepy head would've heard lots of scolding from Veer]

They all continue talking soon someone's crying sound filled in the room.

AUTHOR'S POV

Akshita went towards the maid who brought Shrot down and took him from her after thanking her.

Akshita: oohh Mera baacha....kya huaM ......bas...bas chup ab... mumma aagai ....na bas....

[Oh.... my kid..... what happened?..... Hush..... mumma is here now.... Hush....]

Shrot stopped crying after sometime and hugged her mom tightly while Akshita is patting his back. He noticed a stranger's presence so he looked at his mom and then at Siya like he is asking his mom silently.

Dadi sa: aalee Mera baccha uuth gaya tu aaja dadi ke pass aaja (he smiled and went towards her).... good boy.... chalo aapko aapki chachi se milvate hai......

Yeh Rahe aapke Siya chachi, aapke Raghav chachu ki wife. Jese badi maa haina bade papa ki wife vese hi.... namaste Karo inko.

[Oh my boy woke up, come here come to grandma (he smiled and went towards her).... good boy.... come let's meet your chachi... she is Siya chachi your Raghav chacha's wife. Just like how Apeksha badi ma is wife of Veer bade papa exactly like that. Come on now greet her]

Shrot joined his hands together and smiled at Siya while Siya too smile widely and took him towards her.

Siya: namaste to you too champ..... how are you?

She said and kissed his cheeks.

Shrot: nine

Akshita: Shrot nine nahi fine beta

[It's fine not nine Shrot]

Shrot : sme sme. {Same same}

Hearing this we all laughed and then we started talking while shrot is playing with my earrings suddenly he started patting my cheeks.

Shrot spoke in a tiny voice so nobody kuch hear, "chachi?"

Siya looked at him and asked in a tiny voice too as if they are sharing a secret

"kya hua?"

Shrot kissed her cheeks and said, "I love chachi....but I love badi maa this mole {more}" He said and showed this 🤏.

Siya: no problem baby chachi love you more.

Shrot: mole than eveone?

{More than everyone?}

Siya laughed and replied: yes handsome more than everyone.

Shrot : yeehhhh one mole one mole

{One more one more}

Siya: one more what baby?

She asked confused.

Apeksha: one more girlfriend Siya. Did you say you love him? (Siya nodded) so now you become his girlfriend and there is no escape.

Siya: wow that's cheating he didn't tell me the motive but it's OK I'm ready to be your girlfriend baby.

Shrot got happy and kissed her both cheeks.

Akshita: wahh chachi mili to maa ko bhul gaya.

[Wow, now all the love is for chachi, he forgot his mother]

Shrot : nahi mumma

He moved towards her, Akshita took him in her arms and he kissed her on both cheeks, then he went towards Apeksha, like this he kiss maa, badi maa, dadi sa too.

Badi maa: Siya aab tujhe na peheli rasoii ke liye khana banana start kardena chaiye aur pehel sweet dish se start karna. Breakfast karke, jinko meeting ho voh nikle.

[Siya, you should start cooking now, and yeah start from dessert. Those who have meetings can leave after eating]

Siya nodded and started preparing the food while elder ladies went out with Shrot, Apeksha and Akshita stayed there talking with her.

"Mai Gujrati khana banau tho chalega na? Mujhe wahi acche se banana aata hai" Siya asked to Akshita and Apeksha.

[Will it be alright if I cook Gujrati cuisine? I am good at making that]

"Aree ye tho bohot acchi baat hai, hum bhi kuch Naya try kar lenge" Akshita said.

[That'll be great, we will also get to try something new today]

"Hai Siya tujhe jo banana hai who bana" Apeksha said.

[Yes Siya, make whatever feels right to you]

Soon everyone is in dinning room for breakfast.

(Breakfast)

Bhumiksingh: areee wahhh smell to badi aachi hai.

[It smells delicious]

Menavati: aap tho rehne hi deh hukum. Aapko tho har vakht khane ki smell aachi hi lagti hai. Chahe khana jala hua he kyun na ho aap to kha lo loge

[Don't even start hukum. Food is always delicious for you. Even burnt food will smell delicious to you]

She said rolled her eyes.

Sameer: wow gujrati cuisine, hamari gujrati bhabhi ne gujrati khana banaya hai.

[Our gujrati bhabhi made gujrati food]

Rohini: sameer... Veer and Apeksha kaha hai?.... jao unhe bulake Lao

[Sameer, where are Veer and Apeksha? Go call them]

Sameer: mai sher ki gufa mai nahi Jane Vala maa-sa aap kya chahte hai ki voh bhukha sher mujhse kacha khaa jayee....

[I'm not going in that lion's den. Do you want that hungry lion to eat me alive mom?]

Rohini: Sameer beta voh....

[Sameer son listen...]

Sameer: nahi maa sa khuch voh toh nahi. Voh ek bhukha sher bane bethe hai subha se mujhe aankhe dikha Rahe hai eese badi badi aankhe karte hai uunk (dramatically wide his eyes)....

[No mom, I won't listen to anything. That person is like a hungry lion just waiting for me. You know his eyes is filled with anger]

Meera: Sameer sun....

[Sameer listen]

Sameer: nahi badi maa aapka beta na.... Sach Mai Pata nahi eese kyun hai hum sab mai se koi bhi unke jesa nahi hai hain Raghav bhaisa exception case hai. Jab dekho tab Don bane firte hai, Sameer yeh kar, Sameer eesa na kar, Sameer Vesa na kar, kyun kyun.....badi maa aapne unke birth ke vakht kuch galat kha liya tha.... ya fir bachpan mai masti karte vakht Ekansh bhaisa ne Veer bhaisa ko kahi se Gira diya tha..... nai to eese kyun hai yee.... Pata hai aapko sirf 5 minutes late kya hogaya mai mujhe 500 push ups karvaye. Aur Raghav bhaisa late hue to unhe kuch nai kyun?? eesi partiality kyun??..... Mai sab se chota hun issiliye na..... mujhe yeh bhaisa nahi chaiye Badal do inhe.... bichari meri bhabhi maa Pata nahi iinhe kese jehelti hogi.

[No, badi ma your son... why is he like that?? Nobody in our family is like that except Raghav bhaisa. He just walks around behaving like a Don. Sameer do this, Sameer don't that, don't say that ... why?? Why badi ma?? Are you sure you didn't eat anything wrong during his birth? Or did he get hurt growing up? If not then why is he like that?? Do you know he made me do 500 push ups because I was 5 minutes late. And even Raghav bhaisa was late but he didn't do anything about that.... this is partiality! Is it because I'm the youngest. I don't want Veer bhaisa please change him for someone else. My poor bhabhi ma I don't know how she holds up to that person]
