NEXT MORNING

SIYA'S POV

Sun rose again like every day and started disturbing me making me awake.

Good morning to myself, where is my phone? Ohh ya..... I noticed that I'm in my room, but how did I reach here?....

Ahh, I don't want to pressure my mind in the morning.

I should get up otherwise I don't knows how everyone will react.

I went inside the bathroom and got fresh. After that, I came out and got ready.

Iisshhh, this dress is so difficult to hold in place and also why dai-maa has to be South Indian and even if she is, then why does her daughter need to wear only South Indian dresses.

Then I looked at the mirror at that time, I noticed my mangalsutra and realized that now I'm someone's wife now, I can't be that carefree girl anymore. I'm married the relationship I never wanted to build... its foundation is already put by God. This mangalsutra, these bangles, this bindi, and the sindur wait sindur is missing.... Here it is, but should I or I shouldn't. Siya, what will you answer when you are asked about your decision...

I start to think about all the events that happened and then about Raghav.

Inner voice : You should say yes.

Siya: But..

Inner voice: But what Siya? Siya, you believe in being a woman of only one man, right? So now, as you are married, do you think that you will be able to accept someone else in the future?

Siya: What type of questions is this... never I will never marry someone else. Now my life only has one man. No one can take his place. I'm am a woman of one man. Marriage is a pure relationship. It's a pure string that ties us together.

Inner voice: Then why are you thinking too much. You yourself knows the answer.

I look in the mirror and put the vermilion in the partition between my hair.

I went out in search of an idol of God so that I could pray, please, God, don't let anyone come in front of me until I'm done with my prayer.

Wow, just wow, not a single portrayed or idol of God is here in this giant house. Let's go out. Take blessing from nature.

When I reached the garden, I found a tulsi plant. Hayee mere tulsi maa! Thank you, God (send a flying kiss in the air). Then I started to pray, and after completing it, when I was about to enter inside, I heard someone shouting Ekansh bhaisa's name. I went inside just to stop mid-way. Veer bhaisa!! Why is he shouting early in the morning?? I must say this man looks so dangerous.

Veer (shouted): EKANSH AND RAGHAV. COME DOWNSTAIRS NOW.

hearing his loud voice within 2 minutes, Ekansh bhaisa, along with all the other brothers, came running downstairs. Ahh, they look like they were in deep sleep.

Veer : Ekansh

Ekansh: ji bhaisa

Veer: Where is God's idol and mandir? Huh?.... Raghav?

Raghav: Huh? Ji ma..mandir woh (looks at Sameer who gave him a pleading look) bhaisa last time I organized a party with my business partners so because of that I moved it from here for mean time.

Veer(strictly) : Raghav since when you started taking interest in such parties as I know it well that you are not a party person. And you are lying, like I don't know who is a fan of such useless parties here. Sameer and Vansh, will you both open your mouth or not. What is the need for you stupids to do party over here, and if you do, still, why you moved the idols and temple. No,  wher do  you want me to do my morning prayer? You both are idiots just like your friends. If I ever seen any of your stupid circles around or near any of our properties then you both know me well.

They both look down. Bro, what is the need to overreact. You could have done praying by looking at your phone too if it is that much important for you or you can pray to nature too. Both the brother's has same level of arrogance.

But what can we do now? Let's try to save my husband and dewar. Should I interrupt, I think I should otherwise he might eat them.

Siya: Umm... b-bhaisa, you can complete your prayer outside. There is a tulsi plant there.

Veer ( looks at me for a second and ask): where?

Siya: in the garden.

Veer: Hmm (saying that he went out)

After that, I look at all the brother's to see they are look relieved.

Sameer comes running towards me and started spinning me holding my hands.

"Ahhh, thank you, thank you so much, bhabhi sa. You save us. Otherwise, if bhaisa wouldn't be able to complete his prayer, then you might get our dead body today

Siya : Sameer bhai, you should not say something like that early morning.

Vansh: nai bhabhi sa you truly saved us today. Varna bhaisa's anger, God!! Save us. Right, Ekansh bhaisa?

Ekansh: You are safe because I'm too lazy to move myself right now. So don't start the fight.

Raghav: What time is it?

Ekansh: I don't know, may be 8

Raghav: Then we should get up and get ready. Because around 10, Mr.Shekhawat will be here.

Sameer: ya true, let's move out before bhaisa comes again, aur ab ki Bari to service pakki hogi. Let's go

AUTHOR'S POV

Sameer and Vansh move towards their room after that Ekansh also went towards his room. Raghav looked at Siya and then went to his room. Now Siya doesn't know what to do so she sat on the sofa and started watching TV, cartoon network-Tom and Jerry show. After sometime Sameer too joints her, then Vansh, too.

Three of them were sitting on the sofa focusing on TV like they are watching a very serious movie.

Veer who comes inside from the garden after completing his prayers and Surya namaskar and yoga, stands there on his way looking at this trio who is so focused on the TV screen. Raghav and Ekansh also stop on their way, looking at them being so serious. They all went behind the trio and saw that they were watching 'Dora the explora'.

They look at each other and then look at the grown-up kids who are watching cartoon that too Dora the explora.

At that time, the show finished, but then Siya took the remote and changed the channel and started 'Sofia the first'

Sameer: nai bhabhi sa change it we are not watching this girl's cartoon. Do one thing play 'cars'

Siya: Cars?...nah, it's no fun. I don't like that movie.

Vansh: But we like it na and also majority wins so we will play cars.

Siya: No, this is wrong, I too want to watch Sofia the first. You both team up against me is not right, I'm a girl that's why you are not letting me watch right?

Sameer: not because you are a girl but its because we are elder than you and you should respect both of us because veer bhaisa always says that we should respect elders and should listen and follow their every single words.

(Raghav and Ekansh looked at Veer who looks annoyed)

Siya: So what? And also, it's you guys who said that I'm younger than you bot,  so it's your duty to take care of them andfulfilll their wish.

Vansh: nai younger should listen to elder, like an obedient and respectfull youngers do that Ekansh bhaisa tought us.

( This time, Vera and Raghav give a look to ekansh)

Siya: aree, then I'm elder than you both in status. Like I'm the wife of your elder brother, which eventually makes you younger than me, so you both should listen to me.

( Now, ekansh and Veer gives teasing look to Raghav, who looks embarrassed)

Sameer: aacha, let's do one thing. Let's play a game and decide and now if you say no to this then you have to agree with us and have to see 'cars' with us.

Siya: nai I'm ready for the game, but we will not watch cars.

Sameer: Okay, so let's play Stone, Paper Scissor, the one who won will decidewhat to watch. We will agree with the winner.

Vansh: Okay, best idea, but no cheating, ok?

Siya: okk, let's start.

Ekansh: aree nahi, Siya, in this game, they both will team up and will cheat against you.

Hearing ekansh's voice trio flinch and look back to see that Veer, Raghav and Ekansh present there.

Veer and Raghav give Ekansh a 'What the hell....' look

Ekansh looked at them and smile awkwardly

Ekansh: i-i w-was just helping her😅

Raghav: Thank you very much, Ekansh jii.

( said sarcastically and then looked at siya)

And Mrs. Raghav, what are you? Huh!! 5!!??

Seriously, you guys are watching cartoons and then even fight over cars and Sofia the first. Wow, the great heir and pride of Raghuvanshi family are fighting over cartoon

Siya( Whisper to sameer) : You guys never watch cartoons?

Sameer( whisper back): we did, na, all of us.

Siya: Then why is he overreacting? Just look at him and see how annoyed he looks.

Vansh: I think Veer bhaisa and Ekansh bhaisa never let him watch his desired show that's why he is annoyed and jealous

Siya: This makes sense. Poor hi--

Raghav: What the hell you guys are whispering, huh!? Sameer.... Vansh... Siya.... I'm asking something will.......

[ his sentence remains incomplete because of maid who interrupt]

Maid: sir Mr. Shekhawat is here.

( Hearing this Siya smile instantly)

Veer: Send him inside

Harshad Shekhawat walks inside and directly goes towards Siya, who hugs him, and a few tears fall from her eyes.

Harshad: Siya beta, what happened? Tell me please baccha. Stop crying, you are my strong baby na

He wipes her face

Harshad: what happen did they do something?

Siya: nahi..... it's just after seeing a family member I- I.... I miss you all, and I'm strong. I was not cr--

( her sentence remains incomplete)

Harshad: s-Siya wh-what is this!!?.

( asked, looking shocked at her mangalsutra and vermilion. Siya didn't answer as she don't know how to start )

( he again asks, but this time in a cold and strict tone)

Harshad: I'm asking something, Siya, can I get the answer?

Veer: Well, Mr. Shekhawat, we call you here to discuss this matter only. Everything will be explained, but first, take a seat. And siya please order maid to bring refreshment too. And Mr. Shekhawat, I assure you that we will discuss everything deeply, but before that, have water or something.... Siya

( indicating her to follow his words)

Siya nodded and went from there. After 5 min, she came back with refreshment. And pass it to Harshad.

Veer: sameer and vansh you both go with your bhabhi maa. You guys should go on a walk till then we discuss the

Whole thing.

Siya: But...

Veer: I know Siya that you want to be here but it's better if you don't because it will remind you of all the event that happened and you just got your smile back you might again start overthinking. And also I hate the presence of youngers when elder are their to solve the matter. I never want any younger of my family to see or hear such things. And you are a part of my family now, so this rule is applicable to you too. Trust me, nothing will happen against your will, hmm? Now don't worry, just trust your shree Krishna. Now go.

Siya nodded slightly and went with Sameer and Vansh to the nearest garden.

Harshad: Raghav, Siya's sister and my fiancee will be here the day after tomorrow. So please start explaining everything so that I can record it and send it. Because when she will be here and if she thinks that something is wrong then, we all have to answer that question paper.

Veer: Raghav explain every single thing. What you feel and also what you heard from Siya.

Raghav: Mr.Shekhawat,

Harshad: sorry to interrupt, but drop the formalities you can call me by my name too and also their is a request I need to call someone, so that I can also include them in this conversation.

Veer: No problem, but who

Harshad: Siya's uncle and aunty. They deserve to know that. As they were always with them.

Raghav: it's great, I don't have to explain all this again.

Harshad nodded and went to call and return back after 15 minutes. And put phone on speaker

Harshad: So we should start.

(From call) Prashant uncle: beta, explain everything from starting and properly.

Raghav: Sure, Mr. Rawal

Prashant uncle: Drop the formalities. Just call me uncle.

Raghav: That's better. So that day after I completed my meeting when I was returning.......

He explained everything, from what happened to the conversation Siya and Raghav had about continuing this marriage.

Harshad (shock): Is she fine? I mean, did you check for injury or her body part something missing or like that.

Raghav: No, there is nothing like that. That night, I checked her and even asked her too, and she answered that when they tron her sleeves, she got scared and ran away. So, it clearly indicates that she is not injured.

Veer: But still, for the assurance, we should do whole body check-ups.

Harshad: I agree. We will do that.

Everyone keeps mum for sometimes.

When suddenly Prashant uncle asked

Prashant uncle: Raghav?

Raghav: jii uncle

Prashant uncle: Are you ready to accept this marriage

Raghav:( Look at veer)

Veer: Raghav, don't look at me. Just take your decision. I'm always there

Ekansh: Yes, answer it. Are you ready or not?

Raghav: I'm ready to accept her as my wife, but only if she and her family agree.

Prashant uncle: ok, what about your family. You guys agree, but your family. Will the accept her as their daughter-in-law? And I'm again telling you I don't need your assurance that you will make them agree. I want their assurance that they are ready to accept her.

Veer: Uncle, there is no problem in that. Tomorrow Siya and Raghav will reach there in the morning and the next day I will bring my family there to take their daughter-in-law with them.

Prashant uncle: This is so soon. At least give us some time to arrange everything

Ekansh: ok, how about we come to take her after one week. She will get time to spend with you guys.

Veer: And uncle, don't worry, worker will be their to help in all arrangements.

Raghav: But we didn't ask Siya's opinion.

Prashant uncle: Look, Raghav, as you guys are already married, I would suggest you guys give it a chance. Otherwise, divorce is also an option, but that option is something I will never suggest. And I'm well aware of siya's answer

Veer: In fact, we all are aware of it. From what I observed, I can say that she believes in culture and traditions.

Ekansh: And now it's your matter to ask her about her answer. (Wink)
