"Welcome back the Tavern Time on Power106. We got a special guest with us today"
"Yes. We got Ty in the chat today!" The hosts started as i got comfortable in my seat and moved closer to the microphone.
"Speak to em"
"Hey yall wassup. It's Ty in the cuttt" i say into the mic reciprocating the energy in the room.
"Yes yall we have Ty today"
"She finally got time to sit down with us"
"Please. I was busy" I chuckle.
"Ty is one show away to the end of her 'Protect' tour"
"How was tour though?"
"It was amazing. It IS amazing. An eye opening experience"
"So do you plan on doing another one?"
"We will see what the future holds" I say shrugging.
"Your last show is back at home in Charlotte right?"
"It is, it is. It's no other way to end a tour than to end it at home. I'm excited to go home"
"Will your mystery girl be accompanying you?"
"We don't know" I answer thinking about and Autumn smiling but then remembering our last interaction before tour.
"Big ass smile, she makes you happy huh?"
"No comment"
"Why can't we meet her? As in the world"
I shrug not giving them a real answer.
"What you mean you don't know?"
"I don't know"
"Your family met her?"
"Haven't had the chance"
"Tav get out of the woman's business" she lady hosts says.
"Any special projects coming soon that you can speak on?" She continues.
"We shall see. Stay tuned world" i say without spilling details.
"Yall heard her. Stay tuned ! But yall that pretty wraps up today's Tavern Time. Thank you Ty for coming through. Peace out"
I move my microphone, stand up, dap them up and head out of the radio station.
"Charlie? Can you hear me?" I ask Charlie and try to listen for him too.
"I hate this shitty as Texas internet" I say then hang up the FaceTime call and regular call him.
"What'd you find?" I say as soon as he picks up.
"Her mom still in the same house but she moved out"
"You know where?"
"Her mom didn't say where to. She did mention school"
"She say what school?"
"Negative but I seen a NCCU hoodie on her coat hanger"
"Ok bet. Ima look into that. Thank you. You looked into the fire stuff?"
"Yeah. Shit is scrambled. If you wanna know truly, you got to ask her"
"Aight. Thank you C"
"No problem but T. Give her time. She has your number, your socials, she know how to get your attention. If she wanted to, she would have already"
"She had time. It's been a year. Thanks though Charlie. Love you. See you soon" I hang up and get to the car and head back to the hotel to freshen up before the airport.

"Charlie boyyy I missed you" I say hugging Charlie and being extra.
"We JUST talked. Get your gay ass off of me" he says pushing me off.
"On the phone. I missed you man"
"Whatever. Let's get this show on the road yeah?"
"Fasho" i say dapping him up and heading to big booty Benz.
"Home sweet home" i mumble entering my abode.
"Why the hell my water running?" I ask noticing a liquid dripping sound.
What the fuck. I know I didn't leave my water on.
Spotting a beef ramen noodle pack, I slapped my forehead. Charlie. He the only one that eat this nasty shit.
I turned my water off, texted him he was paying my water bill, got in the shower and went to sleep for the night.
"Charlie boyyy" i yell as Charlie picks up the phone.
"Ty'Elle it's eight in the morning. Why are you yelling and loud?"
"Just miss you"
"Arayah get off my phone"
"Bye bruh" i say then hanging up and getting myself ready for today.
Autumn p.o.v
"Autumn.. you okay?" My roommate asks me.
I click the pen in my hand to zone back in.
"I'm fine"
"You sure"
"Yeah"
"Ok. Can you get ready? It's time to go in a minute"
"Go where?" I ask genuinely confused
"The listening party. Autumn you ok? You high?"
"Nah nah. I'm good. Give me five minutes" i say getting up and fixing my hair and adding mascara.
"Shall we?" Talia asks.
"We shall" I answer grabbing her hand as we exit the dorm room.
"Last party of the year. Let's party!" Talia shouts handing me a shot and grabbing one for herself.
"One, two, three" she says counting down then taking the shot.
On three I angle away from her and throw the shot over my shoulder. She didn't know about my past or my sobriety, neither would i tell her. It's all too much.
"Seconds?"
"We just got here. No need to be shit faced" I tell her and throw the headphones over my ears and she does the same and we make it to the floor.
"Lowkey tonight?" I mouth to Talia.
She rolls her head but eventually nods back.
I take her hand as we dance and sing to the current song.
And she said
She starts singing the song and I take the next verse.

I laughed at Talia as she sung the song.

Jerriah did not do her that bad. I don't care how hard Talia sings it.
After this song, Bow Bow Bow by SexxyRed on and this turns Talia all the way up.
I smack my head knowing she finna fuck this shit up.
Talia taps my shoulder to let me know she finna fuck this song up and starts singing.
Oh lawd.
I turn my headphones down and pay attention to Talia. If there's anything I know about her after being side by side with her for a year straight, she gets messy.
She pours a shot back mid-verse and gets back to singing.
Feeling my neck hair creep up, I reach to rub it but before I could, Talia's arm is snatched back.
Oh fuck. Not tonight.
Jerriah has Talia's arm gripped to her.
"Jerriah, not tonight. Let her chill" I say not wanting to deal with this.
"Nah, I got this" she says turning to Jerriah.
"Why you gotta hate? I can't sing Sexy red?"
"No"
"Why"
"Fuck what baby daddy?"
"Fuck my baby daddy"
"What babydaddy?"
"Not you? You not my babydaddy"
"I'm not?"
"Nope" she says popping her "P" and biting her lip.
Jerriah grabs her hand and leads her away.
I reach for Talia's hand but she just waves.
I roll my eyes at the scene. She's not even a nigga. Why does it bother her that Talia singing fuck my babyDADDY. Not babySTADDY.
I turn my headphone down more and find a corner. She'll be back soon. They never last long.
15 mins later
I scrunch my face at the fact that Talia isn't back yet. They never last past 7 minutes. Record time.
I check her location and see she's 7 miles away.

I roll my eyes and take my headphones off but stopping at the sound of the very familiar voice booming through.
Her voice is like a siren compelling me to keep listening but I made a pact to stay away. Her and her music.
I finally snatch the headphones off, toss them into the bin and leave to my car.
I stop at DQ before going to my almost empty dorm.
Another empty, lonely night. Deserve it huh?
After my hygiene, I tuck myself in and go to sleep. Well I try but I can't.
I sit up and go into my drawer and reach under my underwear.
BUSS A NUTT always works.
I turn on the vbvb and rub it on me.
It doesn't work. Can't even focus on it.
I put it up and turn on my side trying to agree with sleep.
My mind keeps floating around Ty'Elle and her stupid song.
I say my prayer then reach for my phone pulling up Apple Music.
The melodic tune from the first song starts.
Wanting you

You thinking you protecting me from shit I can't see
But you pushing me away and goddamn I wanna stay
I pause the song and turn my phone off. This is about me. I turn over and try to go to sleep.
Seeing that it's not working, I push play and let Ty'Elle put me to sleep.
