2 days later

Ma was finallyyy taking me shopping for more clothes. Id ordered clothes from shein and got some fits from Walmart the past 2 months since we was just starting over and money was tight. Money was up today and i was going to spend it !

"Kyla Nori?"

"I came by to get you"

"Why, what's wrong?"

"We needa go out. I haven't seen you in some time" she says inviting herself in.

"Well me and ma was about to go out"

"No autumn, go have fun. We can go tomorrow"

I shot her that look cause no. All they talk about is "Ty, Ty, Ty". I be sick.

"Come on. Kayla waiting"

I mentally slapped myself and hugged ma so i could go out.

"Hi Kayla"

"Hey"

I put my AirPods in and enjoyed the ride to a non-enjoyable scene.

She amusement park is fun so far. I haven't been to a carowinds EVERR. My favorite so far is that blue thunder shit.

"How many y'all got?" The ride clerk asked.

"Three" Kyla nori answered.

"Who riding with who? It's only 2 people"

"I'm riding with Kyla Nori" kayla said making a face to me. Kyla Nori made a "im sorry face and went to the ride".

"You can't ride by yourself. Is anyone in the line by yourself?" She asked looking beyond me.

No one said anything and I was forced to move to the side.

Before I made up my mind to just not ride it, a too familiar voice spoke.

"Come on, let's ride"

"No it's cool"

"You been waiting to ride. Let's go"

"How you know?"

She shrugged her shoulders.

"You been watching me stalker?"

"Possibly"

"Why you ain't been say something?"

"I wanted you to need me"

"I don't need nobody. Have a good day" I say tryna push past her.

"Come on, I been waiting as long as you. You owe me a ride"

"I owe you?" I say about to go in.

"Y'all riding or no?"

Before I could answer, Ty grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the red ride with her bodyguards behind her.

"Fine. Just don't grab me. If you get scared, that's all on you" i say irritated but liking her company.

"Aight then, practice what you preach"

"Oh im not scared"

She shrugged her shoulders and raised her hands for them the check the leg piece and i did the same.

As the ride started and we got higher and higher i noticed how high this was.

"I'm guessing you're just now realizing why this ride is called the intimidator" Ty said interrupting me from my thoughts.

"Shut up" coming up harsher than expected.

She smiled and looked back forward.

As we got to the top, i observed the scene. This is pretty but it's also high. Like so very very high.

I peeped Ty staring at me laughing.

As soon as i was about to say something, i got cut off by the ride dropping.

The feeling in my stomach caused me to loudly eek and grab the leg holder.

Feeling that wasn't enough, i grabbed Ty's handle too.

She laughed at me but slightly stopped when I frantically grabbed her hand.

She didn't say anything but laugh at me the whole ride.

"What happened to not touching?" She asked getting smart.

I snatched my hand away from hers and turned away.

"I gotta buy these" Ty laughed as we came around the corner.

"Huh?"

Ty pointed to a screen which displayed 4 pictures. In ours, my face was all smooshed up. I looked like I was tryna scream and it wasn't coming out. Worst of all, I was holding Ty's hand.

"No no"

"Why, I fuck with it"

"No. Just no"

"It won't hurt anyone"

"Me. I look horrible"

"So let's take one where you don't"

"I'll pass. But please don't buy that" I basically pleaded.

"I love it when you plead"

I rolled my eyes and rolled away.

She waited a little before wrapping her hand around my shoulder and dragging me the other way.

"Here. I know you'll like this ride"

I didn't fight her, I just went along with it.

After the fury, and a couple of other rides, I was nice and tired out.

"You want something to eat?"

"No, my mom's cooking"

"Ok, let's just go get a snack then"

"No, it's fine"

She nodded and started walking and I just followed her because I didn't know where I was going.

"You think you slick" I said noticing that we were in panda ex

"What?"

"I said I wasn't hungry"

"No. You said your mom was cooking and you didn't want a snack"

"I hate when people remember everything I said"

"You needa eat. I haven't seen you eat since I got out here"

"I don't want this though"

"Well what do you want?"

I shrugged my shoulders not knowing exactly what I wanted.

"Come on"

She dragged me inside Cinnabon. We waited in line and I stood quietly when it was time to order. I didn't want anything fr.

After getting her order, we sat at a table near a door.

"Here" she pushed a huge cinnamon roll near me.

"I-"

"Try it" she demanded with both her voice and eyes.

I took the fork from her, cut it and bit it.

I looked away trying to hide my smile. This shit was really good.

"See I told you" she reached for my hand pulling it away from my face.

Noticing that she was staring into my soul, I put my hand back up but the pulled it back so I dropped it.

"Wassup. Why you staring"

"I never get to see you smile. Just savoring the image" she says genuinely.

Tension growing quickly, I looked away from her and started fidgeting with my fingers under the table then my phone saved me.

Incoming call from Kyla Nori

I faintly smiled at Ty while I picked up the phone.

"Hey, where you at?"

"I'm in.. Cinnabon. Where are y'all?"

"We're at the front. Come on, we finna go"

I hung up the call with Kyla Nori and slowly got up.

"You don't gotta go now. I could take you home"

"No, it's fine. I'm kinda tired"

"Well let me walk you up"

"No it's ok"

She still walked me to the door with her bodyguards closely behind her.

"Can I get your number?"

"Thank you for today. I really actually enjoyed it" I said ignoring her question.

I felt her eyes watching me as I walked out of her sight.

"Who you with this whole time?"

"Just some girl I met"

"Oh ok"

I sat back thinking on my day with Ty. She's growing on my but I won't allow it.
