Best friends forever, that's what they say,

You would do anything for me, in a beat of the heart.

I guess you weren't so smart.

Catching bullets and jumping in front of guns,

Not knowing I was the one pulling the trigger when I had the chance.

I will grieve for you, my dear.

I will do it every single year.

I will grieve our lost connection and friendship with a single tear.

I didn't lie when I said I loved you,

I just wish it wasn't true.

I will forever miss you, my number two.
