Chapter 127
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
Arabella hopped out of the shower, fired up her laptop, and was kneeâdeep in her own business when
a knock on the door interrupted her. âSweetie, are you asleep yet? Iâve brought you some grub,â
Louisa murmured gently.
âNot yet.â
Arabellaâs slender fingers tapped a few keys before she shut her laptop, got up, and opened the door.
âI figured you might not have eaten much since you had a date with Romeo, so I asked the cook to
whip up something for you.â
Arabella looked at the tray, rather surprised âBarbecue?â
âI heard kids your age are crazy about this stuff. Take a whiff; it smells good, doesnât it?â Louisa put the
tray down, beaming at her.
Arabella picked up a piece of meat, instinctively offering it to Louisa.
âIâm not big on this. You enjoy! Youâve been working your tall off these past couple of days, dealing with
all that company stuff. You just got back home; you havenât had time to chill.â
âNo sweat,â Arabella said, chowing down. âItâs kind of fun.â,
At least it wasnât as dull as school.
Louisa was reassured by her words: âJust delegate those minor tasks. Letâs go shopping, have
afternoon tea, get a facial. We could even go on a short trip or a long one. Anywhere you like, weâll
gladly accompany you.â
Arabella looked up and gave a slight smile. âSure.â
âStill getting used to living here? Anything you want to change? Like, is the bed too hard? Curtains not
dark enough? Any decor you donât like? Or maybe the food.â âEverythingâs cool.â
Louisa couldnât fathom why the Murphys were so hard on this wellâbehaved, understanding girl!
Such a darling.
âI heard Phillip sent over afternoon tea for you today.â
Arabella looked up, surprised. How did she know about this?
Louisa was all smiles. âGrandpa Phillip personally called your dad, asking what kind of afternoon tea
you like. You just got back; weâre still figuring out your preferences. Good thing we have Romeo!â
Arabella was taken aback.
âRomeo knows your likes and dislikes like the back of his hand. I can tell heâs really into you. Whenever
he looks at you, itâs like youâre the only one in his eyes. With a partner like that, youâre bound to have a
happy future.â.
Louisaâs hand gently rested on Arabellaâs, her eyes shifting to the bracelet on her wrist.
Weâve known Romeo for years; heâs always been reserved, cold, and serious, he hardly cracks a smile.
But heâs like a different person around you; the love and tenderness in
is eyes. Weâve never seen that before.â.
And weâve never heard of him designing bracelets for a girl. You should get him something in return;
donât let his feelings go in vain.â
Sure.â Arabella obediently nodded, her gaze falling back to the butterfly bracelet on her wrist. The
dazzling diamonds sparkled under the light, just like Romeoâs clear and evoted eyes.
he realized she hadnât really given Romeo anything..
