Chapter 145
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
There were only two people at the dining table. It was a dinner filled with romance and aesthetic
appeal. The gently swaying tree leaves outside the window added to the astonishing beauty, creating a
truly romantic ambiance.
*From now on, weâll have our dinners at home,â Romeo said as he sat down, embracing Arabella and
not letting her sit separately on a chair. He held a fork and knife with one hand and fed her with the
other
âRomeo. I can do it myself,â Arabella protested, sitting on his lap, feeling a bit restless with her legs.
She was no longer a child She didnât need him to feed her!
âSo, youâre not letting me hold you or feed you. Do you not consider me your fiance, or do you not want
to be my fiancée?â
Arabella was somewhat irritated, âWhat does that have to do with anything?â
âIt does,â Romeo slowly said, âYour rejection and distance from me suggests that Iâm not doing enough,
not enough to move you. I need to spend more time with you.â âI can do without feeding you,â Romeo
said with a chuckle, âHow about you feed me instead?â
âIn your dreams!â
âItâs either one or the otherâ
âWhy would I have to make such a choice?â
Romeoâs smile softened, âThen let me feed you properly.â
Arabella huffed and puffed as she ate, looking adorably grumpy.
âTry this,â Romeo picked up another dish, âIt tastes pretty good.â
As Arabella ate, she felt his other hand gently rubbing her back, âCan we eat properly for once?â
âYour beauty stops me from eating a meal without looking at you.â
Finally, after dinner, Romeo held her and sat on the couch, in the same intimate position, âIâll take you
upstairs later.â
âI need to go home.â
âDonât you want to see what your future home looks like? Where our room isâ¦â
âYouâve had enoughâ¦â
Seeing her slightly annoyed look, Romeoâs smile became more mischievous.
Derek served two cups of coffee, politely inviting them to taste.
âPut me down.â
Arabella was almost out of words.
Romeo brought the coffee to her lips, âHow does it taste?â
She looked incredibly beautifulâwhile drinking, her clear eyes downcast, looking like a fairy.
âItâs okay.â Arabella drank half of the coffee, her lips still a bit moist. The coffee was fragrant and
elegant, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. It was topânotch coffee. Romeo cupped her face and suddenly
leaned in for a kiss.
Her lips still tasted of coffee. After a light taste, Romeo deepened the kiss.
Derek, who was standing nearby, was seeing this side of Romeo for the first time. Romeo was usually
cold and stern, his emotions never showing on his face.
