Chapter 157
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
She didnât immediately check her phone, but stood up and said to the other partyâs manager, âGood
luck with our future cooperation.â
âMs Bennett, youâre a straightforward person, I have faith that our partnership will go smoothly.â
The other partyâs manager seemed very pleased with her, smiling as he said, âAs long as the goods
are delivered on time and there is no problem with the quality, we will continue to cooperateâ
âI understandâ Arabella smiled, âWe always aim for the best, you have nothing to worry about.
The other partyâs manager left with a smile.
Arabella watched him leave, then checked her phone. She noticed that Romeo had called her twice.
She dialed him back, âWhatâs up?â
âAre you busy?â
âYeah, just had a meeting with a potential partner.â
âIâd like to be your partner too âRomeo said tenderly, âThis way, I could see you more often.â
Arabella chuckled, âArenât we seeing each other often enough?â
âNot enough.â Romeo replied firmly, âI want to be with you every second of every minute.â
Arabella was walking down the street, âAlright, Iâm about to hail a cab. We can talk when I get home,
okay?â
âYouâre out alone?â Roméo thought she had an assistant with her, âIâll come pick you up. Where are
you?â
âItâs fine, Iâm close to the office. Iâll just grab a cab.â
âI want to pick you up.â
Romeo had already left his office. Carl saw him rushing out and thought something had happened!
Arabella, feeling helpless, sent him her location and then waited at the side of the street.

Aside from the coffee shop she had just left, the other shops on the street were all empty. Behind her
was a piece of land overgrown with weeds, giving off a deserted vibe.
She pulled out her phone to handle some personal matters. Not long after, three cars pulled up.
She looked up and saw Myra, whom she had given a beating; getting out of the car with her brother
Harry and a dozen henchmen.
âItâs her!â
Myra was originally going to settle scores with Molly and Iris, but she didnât expect to see Arabella on
the way.
âShe slapped me first, and even kicked me!â Myra complained to her brother.
The wind blew Arabellaâs long hair, her fresh face left Harry dumbstruck. She was stunning!!
âHarry, stop zoning out! Get revenge for me!â Myraâs swollen face barely covered by one hand, she
nudged Harry.
Harry had seen many pretty girls, but Arabellaâs beauty was a first.
He walked up to Arabella and asked, âDid you hit my sister?â
Arabella raised an eyebrow, seemingly unbothered by them.
These dozen or so thugs, plus Harry who was still a kid, were they underestimating her?

âIf you know your mistake, kneel down and kowtow to me ten times.â Myra, emboldened by her
brotherâs support, arrogantly said to Arabella.
Arabella looked at her arrogant demeanor, and coldly said, âWho do you think you are?â
Myra was so angry she couldnât find words to retort, her face twisted with rage.
âWhat a sharpâtougued girl.Harry seemed interested, âYou donât have to kneel if you donât want to. Just
keep me company, make me happy, and weâll let bygones be bygones.â
âHarry, what are you saying? I told you to teach her a lesson!â Myra didnât want to let this go so easily.
She hadnât had a chance to properly teach Arabella a lesson.
Arabella raised her eyebrow at Harry, âHere? I donât think so.â
She knew there were a few surveillance cameras around that could provide evidence.
âIf youâre shy, we can go there.â Harry seemed to think she had agreed, pointing to the weedâfilled field
behind Ãrabella.
âAlright.â Arabella walked towards the field, Harry followed, and the dozen or so henchmen looked at
Myra, unsure whether to follow.
Myra was full of questions.
This girl was known to be good at fighting, why did she give in so easily? Did she know that these
thugs were tough, or was she trying to lure her brother? Did she think her beauty could get her into the
Cooper family?!
Ha, what a pipe dream!
Arabella walked into the field, the grass reaching up to her knees. She turned to Harry and said, âThis
is fine.â
Harry hadnât expected this woman to choose a location. This spot was perfect to block the view of
others. She really was shy.
âJust you?â Arabella raised an eyebrow, looking at the dozen or so henchmen behind him, âArenât the
others joining?â
How could he possibly let his underlings enjoy such a beautiful girl?
Just as Harry was about to lay a hand on Arabella, she quickly caught his hand and before he could
react, he was thrown into the bushes, getting a mouthful of
dirt!
âDamn it.â Myra knew she was a tough girl, âWhat are you guys waiting for? Go and help!â
This girl was really annoying, daring to lay a hand on her precious brother? Harry was the familyâs
treasure!
The dozen or so thugs rushed at Arabella, a glint of coldness flashed in her eyes She kicked one of the
men flying, then swiftly punched another in the stomach.
A stick was swung at her from the air, Arabella grabbed the manâs wrist and hit him over the head with
his own stick, then kicked him away.
The remaining thugs surrounded her. They attacked at once, Arabella used one of them as a human
shield, then picked off the others one by one. A thug pulled out a knife to slash at Arabella, but she not
only dodged swiftly, but also held the knife against his throat, scaring him witless.
Myra watched in shock as Arabella took down each man, one after the other. The last man was
trembling from head to toe, hands up in surrender.
He even knocked himself out with his own stick and collapsed in the bushes.
Arabella then turned to Myra.
Myra was scared stiff, and now she was alone!!
âHarry, Harry!â Myra called a few times, but her precious brother didnât emerge from the bushes. She
was scared, unable to comprehend how there could be such a person in this world!
