Chapter 170
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
After snagging his membership card, Zachary spotted Arabella from behind and called out. Sure
enough, it was her!
âWhat are you doing here?â
Zachary strode towards her, suddenly remembering the job advertisement at the club entrance. âAre
you here for the job interview?â he asked in disbelief.
Arabella was speechless.
âAre you strapped for cash?â Zachary asked, noticing her designer outfit. With her spending habits,
even a fortune wouldnât be enough.
âYouâre a spendthrift. Now that youâre not with the Murphy family anymore, you need to tighten your
belt.â
Upon hearing his words, Arabella thought to herself, âIs he out of his mind?â
âIâm here for a reunion with Yoli. I just got her a membership.â Zachary raised his card proudly, as if it
were a symbol of his wealth.
Hoping to impress Arabella, he invited her in his most gentlemanly manner: âIf youâre free, why not join
us?â
Not bothering to reply, Arabella turned to leave.
âHold on.â Zachary was taken aback by her indifference. Even if youâre jealous of Yoli and me, basic
manners dictate that you should at least say hello to an acquaintance, donât you?â
Arabella shot him a dissatisfied look. âI donât want to talk to someone like you. Got a problem with
that?â
âI havenât seen you in a few days, and youâre already this crude. What kind of people have you been
around to turn out like this?â Zachary feigned pain. Arabella was incredulous. âWho I hang out with is
none of your business. Youâre sticking your nose in too far. If youâve got issues, go see a doctor instead
of wandering around.â/
Zachary was initially furious, but on second thought, he felt sorry for her. She was probably looking for
a job, even if it meant catering to old men, just to make ends
meet.
âDo you need help with anything?â he asked.
Arabella rolled her eyes at him. âAre you nuts?â
Then she followed a waiter away.
Watching Arabella walk towards the VIP rooms, Zachary speculated if she was not here to apply for a
waitress job but to serve highâprofile customers in the VIP
rooms.
Suddenly, it all made sense. No wonder she didnât care about his membership card. She probably had
bigger fish to fry!
That must be it!
Just then, the door to the VIP room opened, and Yolanda, spotting Zachary standing in the hall looking
peeved, asked, âZachary, have you got your membership? What are you looking at?â
Following his gaze, she saw a figure resembling Arabella entering a VIP room.
âIs that my sister? Sheâs here too?â
âWhat a disgrace.â Zachary sounded quite miffed. Yolanda quickly realized that the woman must be
Arabella. Otherwise, Zachary wouldnât be upset.
To confirm his suspicion, Zachary stopped a passing waiter. âCan I ask, what special services does this
club offer?â
âSpecial services?â the waiter thought for a moment. âWe have a lot. What are you interested in?â
They had entertainment, leisure, and sports categories, with many different options within each.
Each one was very interesting.
Zachary clenched his fists. So Arabella was indeed serving aristocrats in the VIP rooms!
This realization made him even angrier. He tersely told the waiter, âNever mind, you can go.â
