Chapter 249
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
Early the next morning.
Just as Arabella was about to head out, she heard Edith saying, âMs. Bella, your bro has been waiting
for you for two nights straight.â
âBro?â Arabella was a bit surprised. âHeâs back?â
âYes, your brother rushed back to see you as soon as he finished all his business abroad. But youâve
been out early and back late these past two days; he hasnât seen you yet.â
With that, Edith asked softly, âCan you make it home for dinner tonight?â
She could tell her brother really wanted to see his sister.
But Arabella remembered she had to tutor Molly in her professional knowledge after work: âI might be a
bit late for dinner; Iâll try to get home as early as possible.â
âGreat!â Edith smiled. âYour brother will be thrilled to see you.â
Lately, Arabella was swamped, which gave Serena an opening to cozy up to Hans Collins.
As Arabella stepped out of the house, she saw Romeo leaning against his car, on the phone from afar.
He was tall and elegant, and every move he made exuded a unique aristocratic vibe.
As Arabella approached, she heard him say, âYeah, this afternoon.â
After hanging up, Romeo opened the passenger door for her; his aura naturally softened. âHave you
had breakfast?â
âYeah.â Arabella looked up and asked, âGot something on in the afternoon?â
âI have to make a quick overseas trip.â Romeo leaned down to fasten her seatbelt. âIâll be back
tomorrow afternoon. Take care of yourself while Iâm away.â âIâm not a kid.â
A slight arch appeared in Romeoâs brows. âIâll try to wrap things up and get back as soon as possible.â
âUhâhuh.â
âYouâre going for just one day.â Arabella knew he was overly concerned about her. âDonât worry, Iâll take
good care of myself.â
Hearing her say that, Romeoâs eyes softened. âThe bag next to you is for you; take a look.â
Arabella opened it and found not only the things she needed for her period but also a hot water bottle
and snacks.
Romeo was worried that the Collins family might not have prepared these for her since she had just
returned.
âIf theyâre not good, Iâll get you something else.â
Arabella blushed slightly, understanding what he meant.
âThe ginger tea is individually packed; have a bag when your period comes.â
âUse the hot water bottle if you feel uncomfortable.â
âYou can also snack during your period.â
After dropping Arabella off near her office, Romeo opened the car door, hugging her reluctantly and
saying, âIâve already planted the marigold. Iâll take you to see it when I come back.â
âOkay.â
âDonât stress too much about tomorrowâs competition. Do your best.â Romeo gazed at her, his
expression filled with affection and tenderness. âIâll try to be back before the competition starts.â
âOkay, no rush.â
