Chapter 279
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
Romeoâs car pulled up at the villa by the lake.
He looked up and saw that the lights in Arabellaâs room were still on, so he got out of his car, pulled out
his phone, and dialed her number. âArabella, are you still up?â
âYep.â Arabella had just finished showering and was drying her hair with a towel. âAre you all done with
your stuff?â
âYeah, I was planning to come see you straight off the plane.â
But on the way, he heard about her injury and its connection with the Cooper family. He had to deal
with some stuff, causing a delay. âCan you come to the window and see me?â
At this hour, he couldnât just barge in, and it was sweltering outside. He didnât want her to leave the AC
to come out to the steamy balcony.
So he could only catch a glimpse of her from afar.
Arabella went to the window and saw Romeo standing by his car, looking up in her direction.
Even though she couldnât make out his facial expression, she could feel the tenderness and affection in
his voice..
âHave you been eating on time while I was away?â
âYep,â Arabella answered, continuing to dry her hair.
âBe careful; your hand is injured.â
Arabella was startled. âHow did you know?â
âI watched your competition video.â Romeo replied. âI didnât know your hand could not only save lives
but also play the piano and even make such beautiful clothes.â
âDo they really look good?â Arabella asked. She didnât think the alterations she made at the competition
were all that important.
But since Romeo said they were nice, she agreed, saying, âThen when my handâs better, Iâll make
more for you.â
Romeo was pleasantly surprised. âReally? Then wait till youâre healed, and you can make some for
me.â
He could tell that Arabellaâs design talent definitely surpassed Mollyâs:
It was just that during the competition, she kept a low profile, Jetting Molly take the spotlight.
âIf anyone ever bullies you, make sure you tell me.â
âOkay.â
âI brought some lateânight snacks. Have them and get some rest.â Romeo looked at Arabella through
the window, saying gently, âFind someone whoâs still awake to collect them. I wonât ring the bell.â
That way, he wouldnât disturb anyoneâs rest.
âDonât come down.â Romeo added, âYour hand is injured; you shouldnât carry heavy things.â
After Arabella agreed, she instructed Edith.
Edith hadnât expected Romeo to bring so many lateânight snacks. She had her hands full and, with a
smile, asked him, âRomeo, arenât you coming in for a bit?â
Edith guessed his concerns: âItâs late, you donât want to disturb Mr. and Mrs. Collins, do you?â
Romeoâs gaze softened. âEdith, there are some medicines in this bag. Arabellaâs hand is injured; she
might need your help to apply it later.â
âArabellaâs hand is injured?â Edith suddenly rememberedâno wonder Arabella was using her left hand
to eat dinner tonight!
Everyone in the household knew that Ms. Bella was ambidextrous. So, when she used her left hand to
hold cutlery, nobody thought anything of it.
But how did Mr. McMillan find out?
âRest assured, I will definitely apply the medicine to Ms. Bella later.â
âSorry for the trouble.â
