Chapter 325
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
The moment Arabella heard the news, she was on her feet and out the door, asking, âWhatâs up?â
âSomething might have rattled her.â
Arabella immediately had an inkling: âDid anyone from the Murphy family go to the hospital?â
âA nurse told me that she saw someone from the Murphy family leaving Graceâs room before she fell
ill.â
This could mean that Grace was pissed off by the Murphy family.
If thatâs the case, she wonât let them off the hook!
By the time she rushed to Hope Hospital, Graceâs vital signs were plummeting fast.
In the room besides Caden Newton, there were two doctors and a nurse, all discussing how to save
Grace.
âSurgery or not, itâs your call.â Caden looked at Arabella.
Even though Grace was in no shape for surgery, if she didnât get one, she was a goner!
Arabellaâs slender fingers checked Graceâs pulse, then she said, âHand me the medical kit.â
Grace wasnât in a position where she needed surgery.
Caden handed her the medical kit.
Arabella skillfully opened the kit, picked out a few thin silver needles, and started acupuncture
treatment on Grace.
A newbie nurse nearby was taken aback. What the hell was this girl doing? She had the guts to do this
in front of two doctors and Dr. Caden? âDr. Caden.â
âLet her be!â Caden knew Arabella must have a trick up her sleeve. Sure enough, soon after, Grace
coughed up a mouthful of blood.
âGrannie Grace.â Arabella leaned down and called softly, âCan you hear me speak?â
The nurse nearby, seeing Arabella revive Grace, remembered a rumour she heard when she first
started her internship at Hope Hospital. There was a high school girl who was a wizard at medical
procedures, and she used to perform surgeries alongside Dr. Caden.
Could it be the girl standing in front of her right now?
Sheâs so young and yet so brilliant.
Grace heard a familiar voice and weakly opened her eyes, instinctively reaching out for Arabellaâs
hand.
Arabella quickly held her hand and asked softly, âGrannie Grace, are you awake?â
âIâm so sorry.â Grace was emotional. âI couldnât even keep the stuff you gave me safe.
What the heck did that mean?
Grace coughed a few times, tears filling her eyes. âMy stuff is gone.â
Arabella realized that Grannie Grace was upset about this and quickly comforted her, saying, âItâs no
biggie. Those were cheap things. If you like them, I can buy more for you.â
âNo.â Graceâs voice was filled with a hint of sadness: âDonât buy anymore; they must have taken my
things.â
Even if she bought new ones, they would take them away!
âCalm down.â Arabella spoke softly, âYouâre too weak right now; close your eyes and get some sleep.
When you wake up, your stuff will be back.â
Grace knew she had the ability to recover those things. She was specially trained and could deal with
average people; even assassins were no sweat.
But Grace didnât want her to meet those people. âItâs okay; you donât need to confront them.â
As she was saying this, she coughed up another mouthful of blood, scaring the nurse beside her, who
instinctively covered her mouth.
