Chapter 1201

When the doorbell ráng, she hurried to answer it, surprised to see it was Peter standing on the other side.

“My love!” she exclaimed, her surprise evident in her eyes.

Peter réveled in her delight, placing a gift he had picked up from the local shopping mall aside..

Antonia had intended to invite him in, but remembering Maja’s advice to not seem too eager. She decided to keep

the conversation at the doorstep.

However, ten minutes later, another woman appeared behind Peter. It was Daisy, and she was holding their son in

her hand.

Antonia’s face paled instantly. This was the first time Daisy approached to her.

Peter turned around and saw the two, a look of irritation crossing his face.

Daisy had become increasingly presumptuous, daring to intrude like this.

He had far too indulged with her.

As Peter was about to send her away, Daisy spoke, “I want to talk to Antonia, Peter, if that’s alright?”

Without waiting for Peter to respond, she walked in and closed the door behind, leaving Peter standing outside.

Without Peter’s presence, Antonia made no effort to hide her animosity.

“You home–wrecker, you’re as bad as Maja. I’ll deal with her first. Then I’ll come for you!”

Daisy locked the door behind her to prevent Peter from entering.

She took a quick look around the room, her eyes landing on a small girl who was looking at them silently by the

bedroom door.

The girl was thin, almost as if she hadn’t eaten in days.

“Antonia, haven’t you been feeding your kid?” Daisy asked.

Antonia rolled her eyes, “If I fed her, why would Peter come to check on us? Daisy, keep your crocodile tears to

yourself.”

Daisy, although resentful towards Peter, was extremely fond of her son, almost to the point of spoiling him.

Why should the children suffer because of adult conflicts?

“Your child is already dealing with autism, and now you don’t allow her to eat. You’re heartless.”

Antonia raised her hand, intending to slap Daisy, but Daisy was quicker, her hand striking Antonia’s cheek first.

“So, you’re doing all this to get Peter back? That’s why you created such a spectacle online, making everyone

believe Shawn violated your kid? How do you expect her to face the world after this? You’re only thinking about

your own selfish desires. You don’t deserve to be a mother!”

Antonia had held a grudge against Daisy ever since she had slapped her. Now, the mistress slapped her in her own

home. She lost control.

“Yes, I did it on purpose. And it worked, didn’t it? My husband is back, and he even seems to care about me again.”

“Antonia, don’t you feel guilty? Not just towards your kid, but also to the innocent bystanders you’ve dragged into

this mess!”

“Why should I feel guilty? They got what they deserved! Did they think their charity was doing me a favor? I don’t

need anyone’s sympathy! They were just mocking me, mocking me for having a daughter with autism, mocking me

for having a husband who keeps a mistress!”

Peter, standing outside, could only hear the heated argument.

Angered, he pounded on the door. These two women were getting out of control, blatantly disregarding his words.

He regretted ever having sex with Daisy. Yes, she had given him a son, but her obstinate nature was unbearable.

As long as he maintained his looks, there would be plenty of women willing to bear his children.

Peter’s face darkened, his frustration mounting. He wished he could go in and slap both women, but the door

remained shut…

Half an hour later, the door finally opened.

A stone–faced Daisy emerged, immediately taking her son’s hand and leaving.

Antonia, appearing victorious, continued to use her daughter as a means to win Peter back.

“Darling, come in, sit down. Our daughter hasn’t eaten all day because you weren’t here.”

Peter hesitated for a moment, then walked in, ignoring Daisy’s hasty departure.

Downstairs, Daisy got into the car and handed a recording to Maja.

Maja hadn’t expected Daisy to be so decisive. She had assumed she would continue bargaining.

Daisy leaned back in her seat, “I just hope I can find work in the entertainment circle in the future, to support my

two kids.”

Maja took the recording, her opinion of Daisy slightly improved. But she was aware Daisy had knowingly involved
