After the meal, Maja endured the rigorous training regime. The whip cracked at a pace set by 003, who seemed to

target her with every lashing. Though Maja dodged clumsily, she could tell that 003 wasn’t singling her out

intentionally.

Two days later, the sound of a car engine outside signaled the return of K

Maja’s expression shifted, she was eager to see just who this elusive K was and what he looked like

She sat in the lounge, still as a statue–it was her downtime

The front door opened, and 003 greeted the newcomer with respect.

s eyes darted to the entrance, and when she saw the mask on the man’s face, her interest deflated. His caution

was impenetrable, he likely hadn’t removed his mask even during her training sessions.

She lowered her lashes, noting how K’s gaze swept the room.

“I don’t know. Haven’t seen her around for a couple of days. Maybe she’s out on a mission or something”

K’s brow furrowed–002 wouldn’t just leave on a mission. When he had departed, he’d ordered her to train Maja. His

commands were the highest

priority

Instinctively, his gaze flicked to Maja.

He then headed to the secret chamber.

As the door swung open, 002 tumbled out, collapsing in a disheveled heap on the floor.

For two whole days, she hadn’t slept or rested, constantly on high alert for any sneak attacks.

If not for her formidable skills, she would have succumbed long ago

Her heart raced as she lay exhausted. Had K arrived even an hour later, she might have truly met her end there.

At the hands of Maja, that contemptible woman.

002 stormed into the lounge, and upon seeing Maja, she couldn’t hold back.

“I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!”

Her hands wrapped around Maja’s neck

Maja feigned resistance, scoffing inwardly.

002 was stunned, nearly losing her life because of Maja and now unable to control her temper

Facing K’s cold stare, she quivered, biting her lip.

K turned to Maja “How would you like to handle this?”

This was Maja’s chance to test the extent of Ks indulgence.

She lowered her lashes

“While you were away, she pricked my fingers with needles, starved me, even tried to take me elsewhere for

003 approached 002 with a dagger, her reluctance evident.

With a swift motion, she severed a tendon in 002’s leg.

002 screamed in agony, her eyes filled with loathing for Maja. If only she had silenced this woman when she had

Maja raised an eyebrow, feigning ignorance. “Is she crippled?”

“Yes, she be in a wheelchair from now on.”

After declaring this, he addressed 002

“You should thank the leader. You’re lucky to be alive, even if it means using a wheelchair. Your medical skills will

ensure you still have a place here”

002 was filled with resentment but dared not defy K’s command.

Her eyes, burning with fury, fixed on Maja.

“Thank you, leader”

The words were hard for her to utter, tainted with bitterness and humiliation.
