Chapter 305
Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode
Chapter 305
Maja hadnât brought any clothes, and she was completely soaked, with no dry clothes to change into.
She was pissed and tried to swim to the shore, but Samuel grabbed her waist and pulled her back.
âPenny, do you really think Carlene and Dana would let you go if I didnât bring you here? They just said
a whole bunch of nasty stuff about you.â
But they were talking about lanâs wife.
Maja stiffened up, narrowing her eyes at him.
âEven so, you didnât have actually to toss me in the water.â
Samuel clearly had reasons for throwing her into the water â he wanted to see her drenched.
And obviously, it worked pretty well.
Samuel moved closer to her, whispering in her ear.
âPlus, Carlene probably doesnât know that youâre lanâs wife, right? But sheâs already planning to mess
with you because youâre lanâs designer. If you play up some ambiguity with me now, itâll make her
suspicious, and sheâll back off. How about that?â
His breath fanning her ear makes Maja feel a bit uncomfortable.
âAnd, look up at the balcony.â
Maja frowned, looking up.
lanâs holding a cigarette, lazily watching the scene.
Tyler and Fitch were standing next to him, and they seemed to have been there for quite a while.
The swimming pool was right under their balcony, so lan could see everything from when Maja was
thrown into the water.
But he had no idea what they were talking about
All he saw was them getting chummy.
Maja was so angry that her face turned red. Was all this Samuelâs plan?
Samuel moved closer to her on purpose again.
âlan is upstairs too; seeing us so cozy, he probably suspects somethingâs up between us. If he has
feelings for you, they might fade now, and Carlene wonât pay attention to you anymore. Two birds with
one stone.â
âPenny, you donât tell lan about your identity; isnât it because you want to leave easily in the future?â
âSo, should I thank you?â
Samuel chuckled, twirling her hair around his fingers.
âIf thatâs how you see it, no problem. You just need to date me for a while after your divorce.â
He just wanted to have her.
Maja was so angry that she was speechless. But Carlene and the others were already in the pool.
Their swimsuits were very cleverly designed, with very little fabric.
Compared to them, Maja, in her everyday clothes, looked totally out of place.
Carlene stared at Maja, smirking.
And Dana, right next to her, canât help but laugh.
âYouâre so shameless. Youâre married, and yet youâre all over Samuel, like youâre taking a bath
together.â
Dana pulled at Carlene.
âCarlene, I told you long ago, sheâs a siren; she tried to seduce everyone she saw. Itâs dangerous to let
her stay close to lan.â
âDana.â
Carleneâs voice was stern.
âFind a waiter, and later put something in her food to make her drowsy.â
They wanted her to make a fool of herself publicly. Then when she woke up, she couldnât stay in
Greenfield anymore.
Dána smiled slightly.
âGreat idea. Iâll arrange it now.â
Dana sneaked away and found a waiter willing to drug her.
Waiters regularly served drinks, fruits, and pastries to the swimmers in the pool area.
Soon enough, a waiter brought Maja a light blue cocktail.
Samuel placed the cup in front of her. âDrink up.â
Maja didnât drink, so Samuel leaned in.
âWhatâs up? You want to toast with me?â
Maja thought Samuel might actually do something like that, so she tilted her head back and downed
the drink.
She started coughing because of the alcohol.
Samuel immediately patted her back, but Maja pushed him away.
âMr. Brown, Mia likes you. Even if you solve my problem tonight, it will only lead me to new ones. So
stop. lan and Carlene have already seen this, so thereâs no need for anything else.â
âPenny, are you ditching me?â
Maja didnât respond to him and swam towards the shore.
But halfway there, she started to feel hot.
She frowned, got out of the pool, and checked her clothes.
Theyâre all soaked, and she looked a mess.
She took out her phone, only to find it was not working anymoreâ¦.
Since she came with Connie, she didnât have any money for a taxi either, so she hurried back to the
dessert section to find Connie.
Connie was also looking for her. She took her upstairs to change and scolded Samuel.
âHeâs too much. How could he just push you into the pool? If youâre not feeling well, rest here for a bit.
Iâll bring you some delicious seafood later.â
Connie was a kind girl. She only left after making sure Maja was okay.
However, Maja was feeling really uncomfortable now. She was burning up.
