Ferris Pennyfeather quickly fetched a glass of water for Hattie Zimmer.

Chugging down the water in one go, Hattie Zimmer muttered, “So damn annoying. Maja is a nut job.

We can’t let her off the hook.”

Abram Pennyfeather relayed the recent events in detail.

Listening to it, Ferris Pennyfeather was pretty pissed off.

“She’s planning to murder you guys! Neil didn’t do a good job raising her. Seems like we really need to

move into the Pennyfeather family mansion. Otherwise, who will discipline her, and how will she get

married?”

Hearing this, Abram Pennyfeather agreed as he pointed out, “Lillian passed away early, and Neil

remarried. She’s definitely neglected. The key issue is that she now has power and bodyguards. We

can’t confront her directly.”

Ferris Pennyfeather sat in thought for a moment, his eyes suddenly sparkling.

“We can sort this out. She hasn’t experienced love since she was a kid. We can send a guy to woo her

and shower her with flowers daily. That should get her smitten. Once she’s pregnant, she won’t be able

to leave easily. When a woman becomes pregnant, she becomes cautious and will definitely listen to

After staying in the hospital for two hours, she was about to leave. As she reached the hospital’s

entrance, she was blocked by a crude

man.

He was bald, wearing a black jacket. His eyes shone as they scanned her.

“You’re Maja, right? I’m here for a blind date set up by your Uncle Ferris Pennyfeather. Can we walk

and talk?”

He held two roses in his hand, looking very generous.

“Here, take these roses. They’re my gift to you.”

Maja glanced at the roses. They were made of plastic, each costing less than a dollar.

“Real flowers are more expensive than these, costing ten dollars each. Ferris Pennyfeather told me

your family’s loaded, so I thought I shouldn’t let you suffer. I’ve booked a restaurant; I can drive you

there.”

He pointed at his Mercedes with a smug face. The cheapest Mercedes costs about thirty thousand

dollars. As long as it’s a Mercedes, it can fool many girls.

Once Maja heard him mention her uncle, she knew he was Neil’s brother. Was she his target?

This man was 27, just out of prison after 3 years. He couldn’t find a wife, so Ferris Pennyfeather

introduced Maja to him. Maja’s family owned a company, and she lived in a mansion. He felt like he

had hit the jackpot.

He walked to his car, opened the door, his face filled with pride.



“This car is worth over a hundred grand. Hop in. The restaurant we’re going to is quite pricey. Ferris

Pennyfeather told me you’ve been neglected since you were a child. Don’t worry. Once we’re married,

I’ll take good care of you.”

Maja found it ridiculous. She ignored him and got into her own car.

Her car was bought by herself, costing about thirty thousand dollars, but it wasn’t a famous brand like

Mercedes or BMW.

As she stepped on the gas, her car sped off, not even leaving a shadow for him.

Seeing this, the man was instantly furious and immediately called Ferris Pennyfeather.

“What’s up with Maja? She totally ignored me. I’ve chased the prettiest girls in school before. Is she

looking down on me?”

Ferris Pennyfeather also didn’t expect Maja to show no interest in this man. This man’s family

background was quite good. His family owned a factory. Though not large, it could make over a

hundred grand a year. Such a man wasn’t easy to find.

“I’m pursuing her out of respect for you. She just ignored me because her family’s a bit wealthy.”

“Don’t get pissed off. I didn’t consider this thoroughly. As I said, her mom passed away early, and her

dad ignored her. She doesn’t even have basic manners. But you know, women, if they’re disobedient, a

good smack will put them in line. Once you have a kid together, she wouldn’t dare to rebel. The main

thing is, you gotta win her over first.”

The man sneered.

“I only chased the prettiest girls in school. If she weren’t pretty, I would’ve been pissed off just now.

Who does she think she is?”



Ferris Pennyfeather also laughed. He knew this man was ruthless and had even been in jail. He should

have no problem winning over Maja.

If all else fails, just take her by force!
