Chapter 352
Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode
Chapter 352
Maja was taken aback, rooted to the spot. If she didnât already know that Coco was at Rosewood
Manor, she mightâve totally bought his act. Why on earth would lan hold a dog hostage?
With a helpless laugh, she quickly caught up to him.
âMr. Raymond, my Coco really is missing. You might not be mistaken. Where did you see it? Iâll go
look.â
Ian stopped in his tracks. He was dressed in a sharp black suit and crisp white shirt, and his jawline
tensed slightly. His voice was cool and clear.
âYou and your husband should go look together. You might still find it.â
Maja was speechless, her steps faltering.
lan had already reached the elevator by now. Maja had no choice but to follow.
âMr. Raymond, my husband is really busy.â
Her voice was filled with helplessness.
lanâs gaze was icy and emotionless as he said, âThen wait until he has time to help you look. Penny, I
have a meeting in five minutes. Donât come to me if itâs not about the renovation.â
The elevator doors opened, and lan stepped in.
It was a private elevator. There was no one else around.
Maja stood at the entrance, watching as the elevator doors closed.
Then she started mulling over why lan would hold Coco hostage.
But no matter how much she thought about it, she couldnât find a reasonable explanation.
In the end/she could only take out her phone and send a text to Maria.
âMaria, Coco will be staying there for the time being. But donât let Mr. Raymond know that sheâs a dog
from Rosewood Manor. Just go along with what Mr Raymond says.â
Maria has been working at Rosewood Manor for so many years that she immediately understood the
subtext and responded immediately, âDonât worry Ms. Pennyfeather.â
Maja trusted her. On the one hand, she had to act like she was desperately looking for Coco.
Otherwise, lan might find her behavior suspicious, suspecting she knew Coco was safe.
She posted a notice on her Facebook page with two pictures of Coco.
The account was mainly for work, filled with clients who owned villas. It didnât take long before the post
had over ten comments, with people offering to share it.
Among these villa owners, some were connected to Ryan Elston. So, Ryan found out about Majaâs
post from someone elseâs Facebook.
Connie Raymond also saw the post and immediately forwarded the news to lan.
âPennyâs dog is missing. Canât you use your influence to help her look? She even added a pitiful emoji.â
Connie really liked Maja, and given that sheâd walked in on Penny and lan once, she subconsciously
felt that Maja, was special to lan.
Even if they were just friends with benefits, things were different.
lan stared at the message, not responding.
Connie sent another message.
âCoco is already old, and Penny must consider her part of the family. She must be really worried.
Thereâs barely anything on her Facebook, just this post.â
Connie also adored Coco. She hoped lan would quickly use the resources of the Raymond family to
find the dog.
Remembering Pennyâs appearance at the Raymond familyâs residence this morning, lanâs gaze
deepened.
At that moment, Jeff walked into the room.
âMr. Raymond, the meeting has started.â
As lan prepared to head to the meeting room, he decided to call Maria.
Take good care of Coco, donât let it get lost again. Iâll bring it to its owner later.â
Maria was surprised. Ian had always been indifferent to matters at Rosewood Manor. Was he calling
personally over a dog?
Once sheâd recovered from the surprise, she glanced at Coco frolicking in the manorâs main hall.
âAll right, Mr. Raymond, I understand.â
After hanging up, lan originally planned to let Maja know, but he hesitated. In the end, he left his phone
on the table and headed to the meeting room.
Letting her worry a little wouldnât hurt.
