Maja felt a bit awkward with all the visible hickeys all over. Clearly, the guy had gotten carried away

while kissing.

She blushed and started to mumble.

Carol looked like as if she had just discovered her unfaithful husband.

“That guy from last time? You saw him again?”

Cornered, Maja had no choice but to nod.

Carol immediately made her sit down.

“Who is he? The last time you said he was incredible, but I was skeptical. I mean I know Felix is great,

but looking at you now, I think that man may have never seen a woman before. Maja, you’re something

else, finding such a catch!”

Carol was a little jealous, “Who is he? Tell me.”

Maja stayed silent.

Carol knew that no matter how much she coaxed, Maja wouldn’t spill the beans.

She sighed immediately; her eyes filled with resentment.

Fine, some people get a boyfriend and stop sharing stuff with their best friend. I even bought you a

gift.”

Maja was genuinely scared and quickly grabbed her arm.



“Carol, I’m really sorry about this.”

Carol didn’t really want to upset her, and a radiant smile instantly lit up her face.

“Well, in that case, I’ll recommend a shop to you. They have great stuff.”

Before Maja could shake her head, her bag tumbled off the table, and out fell an unworn black outfit.

She tried to kick it under the couch, but Carol noticed something was off, picked it up, and after figuring

out what it was, she gasped.

Wow Maja, behind my back, you’ve been up to some wild stuff!”

Maja was now beyond explanation. She quietly sat on the sofa, her legs together, mouth shut, awaiting

her fate.

Carol was walking back and forth, holding the outfit.

“Who are you seeing? I know you were inexperienced; you even kept your first kiss until last time. But

this guy, he’s got you into some wild stuff right away. Maja, I’m worried he may be a playboy,

surrounded by women. Have you seen his health report?”

Carol was genuinely worried.

There’s nothing wrong with women exploring their sexuality, but at least do it with someone clean.

She started to worry if her constant nagging had made Maja change her views.

If Maja got involved with a playboy because of her, she’d never forgive herself.

“Maja, you should break up with him. Guys who are into this kind of stuff, who knows how many girls

they’ve been with?”



Even though Maja felt lan was a bit dominant in bed, she couldn’t help but defend him.

“He is clean, actually, it was his first time too when we were together.”

Carol looked at her suspiciously and then touched her forehead.

“Women have physical proof, men don’t. He could’ve been with multiple women and still tell you it’s his

first time. If you believe men, then pigs can climb trees! Don’t be fooled so easily!”

Maja couldn’t give any specifics, so she stayed silent.

Carol sat down; she was really anxious.

“I regret always pushing those ideas onto you. Now I think maybe it would be better if you were close to

lan. Even though lan has been with other women, at least he wouldn’t sleep around. And someone of

his status would definitely care about his health. Then I wouldn’t have to worry about you so

much.”

Seeing her worried look, Maja knew Carol was overthinking and quickly reassured her.

“It’s really okay”

“Are you on birth control?”

Carol suddenly asked.

Maja suddenly remembered she hadn’t taken it today.

She had taken a long–term one the day before yesterday, but just to be on the safe side, she took

another one.



Seeing her casually take out the pill, Carol angrily slapped the table.

“Next time make him take precautions! These pills are bad for your health.”

Hearing this, Maja paused, a bit self–deprecating. Like she had the guts to tell lan what to do.


