She was worried about Neil’s health, given that he only had three months left to live.

She hoped to find the child Lillian had given birth to within these three months, but that seemed next to impossible.

After a sleepless night, the tornado had ceased by the morning. Several of the heads from Crystalbrook Valley arrived.

“Mr. Raymond,I’m glad you’re okay.”

“We were scared out of our wits yesterday.”

He was about to question why he drove off alone from the villa, but a warning glance from lan made him swallow his words.

They all drove back to the small town, and Maja was sitting with lan the whole time. She could feel a change in Daly’s gaze towards her; it was

now filled with disappointment and heartache.

Just as they got back to Riverside Haven, Maja had barely stepped out of the car when she heard Olivia’s furious voice from a distance.

Olivia stormed up to her, ready to slap Maja.

“You wench! You were messing around with Mr. Raymond behind your husband’s back. You’re shameless! Everyone, look at her! She’s

supposed to be a high achiever, but look at the disgraceful thing she’s doing!”

Olivia was shouting loudly, hoping to tarnish Maja’s reputation.

Daly was taken aback that Olivia had been waiting for Maja here, in front of lan, and his face instantly changed:

“Oli, you should be resting at home. What are you doing here? Go back!”

“I’m not going! I want everyone to see this wench’s true colors!”

Olivia was burning with jealousy. She thought she was no less than Maja, but this god–like man didn’t even glance at her. Instead, he seemed to

favor Maja, keeping her by his side..

They must have something going on; she wondered what he was like in bed.

At the thought, Olivia wished she could slap Maja hard.

Maja was about to respond to Olivia’s accusations, but lan quickly shielded her.

Faced with lan, Olivia blushed. He was the most handsome man she had ever met, and she liked the idea of bearing his children.

lan recognized the look in her eyes, and his gaze filled with disgust.

Olivia was so startled that she couldn’t speak. Daly was about to apologize but was cut off by lan’s cold voice.

“Get lost.”

Daly’s face turned pale, and he quickly dragged Olivia away.

Because of lan’s good looks and wealth, Olivia was completely infatuated. She thought maybe it was her pregnancy that made lan less interested

in her.

It must be.

As long as she aborted the baby, Ian would like her and take her to Greenfield to live a good life!

She glanced at the car worth millions, her eyes full of greed.

Ian even liked Maja, who was married. There’s no way she wouldn’t catch his eye.

Olivia had been spoiled for too long; she was a bit full of herself. In her opinion, education was useless; bearing sons was what mattered.

And she was as beautiful as Maja.

As soon as she got home, Olivia was insisting on having an abortion, wanting to bear lan’s children!

“Why does that woman, Maja, get to have lan’s love? Why can’t I? If I abort this baby, lan will like me.”

Her words made everyone in the room gloomy, but the fact that Olivia was pregnant was undeniable.

Leo was so angry that he was shaking.

“Take a good look at yourself in the mirror! You think you can compare to Maja?”

“Why can’t I? I’m obviously prettier than her!”

Leo couldn’t hold back; he slapped Olivia across the face.

Olivia covered her face in disbelief, and the next second, Leo received a slap from Daly.

She’s pregnant! I secretly asked the doctor–it’s a boy! How dare you hit her, you jerk!”

Leo’s face was swollen from the slap, and he felt incredibly choked up. His pregnant wife was loudly insisting on aborting their child to bear

another man’s child.

As a man, his pride was deeply hurt.

“So what if it’s a boy? I doubt that the child is mine!”

As soon as he said this, Olivia’s body shook.

Leo’s eyes narrowed, and a look of rage appeared on his face.

“You wench! Could it be that this child isn’t mine? We’re going to have a paternity test right now! I need to confirm that I’m the father!”

Olivia turned pale with fright and refused to go.

“Someone talk some sense into Leo; he’s gone mad! I’m carrying your Elston family’s child!”

But her expression was too tense; anyone could tell she was scared.

Elston family.

But she didn’t dare to go, which made her look even more scared.

Leo was so angry that he was trembling; he slapped her again.

“Wench! Who are you to judge Maja? You’re carrying someone else’s child!”

Daly and Susan immediately tried to intervene, but Leo kicked her a few more times.

“I can’t stay in this house any longer! I’m leaving now!”

With that, Leo stormed off.

Daly and Susan called after him, “You haven’t done the paternity test yet. Don’t rush; the child might be yours.”

But Leo walked faster and faster, got on his motorcycle, and left.

Back in the house, Olivia looked at her own blood, screamed, and fainted.
