Maja looked her over and said, “Do you think you can handle being the president’s assistant?”

“Then go to HR and handle the transfer procedures; come to the top floor of the company in the afternoon; I’ll arrange a workspace for you.”

Zoey nodded again. she wasn’t much of a talker, but she would do as Maja said.

Maja was quite pleased with her.

On the other hand, Carlene, who suffered a major blow yesterday, was crying her eyes out.

She heard that Edith had woken up, so she went to see her early in the morning.

Edith was back at Raymond Mansion when she heard that the court was still waiting for her to appear. She was so angry that she almost passed

out. “That woman, ugh.”

Edith could just skin Maja!

Carlene brought gifts to see Edith, and then she cried on the side.
