Nathan didn’t dare to offend lan, so he simply greeted him, “Mr. Raymond.”

lan’s tongue was in great pain. He had just been bitten by Penny, and it hurt to talk.

Maja proposed, “Nathan, let’s go.”

She wanted to rest. She had been worrying about her hand for the past few days and hadn’t been sleeping well.

Nathan nodded, ready to leave, but heard lan say, “Aren’t you curious about what she and I were doing just now?”

As her husband, didn’t he have any thoughts seeing her getting so close to another influential man?

A flicker of panic passed through Nathan’s eyes because he really didn’t know how to face lan.

“Mr. Raymond and I were just discussing Greenfield Gardens.” She smiled at lan and said, “We’re done talking now,

Mr. Raymond. You can go meet your partners. Ms. Shepard is waiting for you too.”

lan wiped the corner of his mouth with his finger. The pain in his tongue was sharp like a needle. He looked at Maja

and chuckled. “Indeed, our discussion was quite intense.”

Maja didn’t respond to this.

lan adjusted the cufflinks on his wrist and said, “Since your husband is here to pick you up, I’ll make a move first.”

“Take care, Mr. Raymond.”

As lan passed by her, he suddenly stopped.

“I don’t accept your offer of three million for three times. You need to explain your behavior tonight.”

lan turned to Nathan again, nodding politely.

But this last sentence was clearly a challenge to a man’s dignity.

If Nathan really was Maja’s husband, he should feel severely offended now.

interior designer. It seemed they were more than just acquaintances.
