Chapter 600
Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode
Chapter 600
lanâs cheerful mood quickly turned sour, his aura noticeably colder.
He looked out the window, âLetâs head back to the hotel.â
Back in the hotel room, lan had just come out from a shower when he heard the doorbell.
Upon opening the door, he saw the lobby manager standing outside, respectfully holding a small suitcase
âSir, this was left by one of the servants from Rosewood Manor. They said itâs your luggage from there.â
lan glanced at the ridiculously cheap suitcase that looked like something theyâd pick up for a few bucks:
His eyebrows furrowed, a glint of disgust in his eyes, âTrash it.â
The manager hesitated for a moment, sensing lanâs annoyance, and quickly nodded.
Slamming the door shut, lan took out his phone, found Majaâs private number, and deleted it. He didnât plan on
having any more contact with this woman. Out of sight, out of mind.
He didnât know that Maja had deleted his number from her phone earlier that evening when the servant brought
the suitcase.
But she kept his work number, after all, the project at Greenfield Gardens still needed to be finished.
As she was about to rest, her work phone received a message from lan.
âHeard your hubbyâs back?â
Maja didnât reply. As soon as the job at Greenfield Gardens was done, sheâd first delete lanâs number from this
phone too.
When lan got no reply to his first message, he sent a second one.
âI left my ring in your room last night, woke up and couldnât find it.â
The ring?
She suddenly remembered the âpigeon eggâ he was holding.
Though lan was a jerk, heâd gifted a bracelet worth millions before. This ring probably wasnât cheap either. She
didnât want him to use this ring as an excuse to contact or manipulate her later.
âMr. Raymond, Iâll look for it tomorrow.â
In other words, it was too late now.
But of course, lan, the kind of person who only understood when others accommodated him, didnât get the hint.
âFind it now and send it over, or Iâll come and fetch it myself.â
Maja was fuming. Whatâs wrong with this guy?
She took a deep breath, got up, and checked the timeâit was already eleven.
Only he would bother people at this hour without a hint of an apology.
Well, heâs lan, after all.
Determined to cut ties with him, she went out, got in her car, and drove to RosenGarden.
She was seething the entire way. Her chest felt like a ticking bomb.
His profession of âliking herâ seemed more ridiculous by the minute!
Back in her room at RosenGarden, she started looking for the ring.
Given its size, it shouldâve been easy to find, but she scoured every inch of the room without any luck.
Meanwhile, at the hotel, lan was toying with the ring in front of him.
Heâd found the ring the morning after, one of the items sheâd knocked over. He couldnât just leave it there.
It was his competitive nature kicking in.
If she didnât want it, he wonât give it to her. Heâd rather throw it away.
Little did he know, he could still use this to threaten her.
[Found it yet?]
Maja, now exhausted, lying on the bed, sweating.
[No, my house has been robbed a few times. It might have been stolen.]
[What now?]
[Mr. Raymond, you can call the cops. I need to rest. Please stop bothering me.]
Seeing her reply, lan wasnât pleased and started taunting her.
ãWhat, you got a husband to sleep with?]
Even through the screen, Maja could feel his sarcasm and mockery.
