“We can’t shoot that kind of stuff anymore, not since that fan incident. The theme’s been restricted, so I haven’t

had any scripts like that lately.”

This was Nolan speaking, looking politely at Beck and lan,

“Mr. Sanders, Mr. Raymond, I do have a couple of scripts ready to go. Since you’re both here, why don’t you grab

one each?”

Nolan was pretty chuffed. After all, these two were big shots in the industry, and they were here to get scripts from

him. It just went to show the influence he had in this field.

Nolan’s scripts were top–notch, but what was more, he’d got a bunch of protégés.

Beck turned to lan, grinning, “Mr. Raymond, I’m just here in Greenfield to test the waters. If you’re really interested,

you can have both scripts.”

After all, the Sanders family wasn’t short on cash, he was just here for the experience.

What lan really wanted was Nolan’s resources, he didn’t really care about the scripts. If the Raymond family wanted

good scripts, they just had to say the word and a horde of screenwriters would come knocking.

He casually flipped through one and found it to be quite to his taste.

Maja, being close to him, also caught a glimpse of the script and quickly got a grasp of the story.

Maja realized that she had instinctively leaned in to get a better look at the script.

Beck really was just here for the experience, and his family didn’t ask much of him, as long as he didn’t stir up any

trouble.

He casually flipped through the other script and raised an eyebrow, “Alright, this one it is.”

They didn’t argue and after exchanging a few words with Nolan, they both got up to leave.

Remembering something Maja had said, Beck asked, “Oh, and if Professor Smith has any students looking for

investors, my friend is also getting involved in the film industry, they could reach out to her.”

He then turned to Maja, “Penny, give your phone number to Professor Smith.”

Maja understood that Beck was helping her build her network.

If she could establish contact with Nolan, she wouldn’t have to worry about not having scripts to shoot in the future.

She immediately took out her business card, which had her name and the name of her new company, Star Movie

Group.

“Professor Smith, I am indeed looking for scripts to shoot. If any of your students have suitable ones, they can

contact me.”
