In the car, lan looked at the pile of papers on the floor, picking them up one by one.

Then he whipped out his smartphone and started googling.

What were the reactions of a jealous woman?

Should he fire his secretary for throwing documents in his face?

How to deal with inappropriate behavior of a secretary?

He searched three questions in a row, only to get an answer to the first one.

But it was obviously answered by a regular Joe. Ian, lacking an understanding of women’s behavior, mistook it for

the gospel truth.

What reactions could jealousy have? Cry, act cute, buy a gift to butter her up, right?

lan switched off his phone screen, immediately associating the word “act cute” with Maja.

So, was she actually jealous?

He spent two hours putting on a show with that woman, which turned out to be a fairly decent performance.

He didn’t touch that woman. He’d heard beforehand that she was a loose woman, attractive indeed, but also

cunning.

lan went into the lounge, told her that he wasn’t interested, and she immediately backed–off.

Then he asked her for a favor, and to his surprise, she cooperated excellently, screaming herself hoarsely alone in

the bed.

She was indeed a pro at handling relationships. Likely, she saw through his relationship with Maja. When she left,

she even threw Maja a suggestive look.

Except Maja didn’t notice that.

lan sorted out all the documents by himself, then called Jeff to drive.

As Jeff stepped on the gas, he heard lan ask, “Do you think Penny would like me?”

Wasn’t Penny already divorced? Who was she divorced for?

If they’d already been involved, then she could only have divorced for him.

Was his influence on her life really that big?

lan’s lips curled up slightly, as he leaned back in his seat.

“Though she was once married and then divorced, I can’t marry her, but making her my mistress is totally fine by

me.”

Jeff kept silent as he really couldn’t see Penny liking Mr. Raymond.

“Mr. Raymond, we may need more time to observe this matter.”

lan squinted his eyes, his eyelashes suddenly drooping. His voice lowered as he said,

“If she doesn’t like me, I’ll be pissed.”

They’d already slept together, and though he didn’t remember much, he was certain that he hadn’t been with any

other woman.

Jeff didn’t know how to respond, just gripping the steering wheel tighter.

After Maja left, her heart was still ablaze.

The thought of lan even going to bed with someone during a business meeting made her sick.

In her fury, there was also a hint of sourness.

Back at the office, Maja had a cup of bitter coffee to calm herself down, and then Shawn Walsh found her.

“Penny, my movie premieres tomorrow. The pre–sale box office has already surpassed ten million. If all goes well,

the final box office should be at least two hundred million!”

As soon as the pre–sale box office numbers came in, Shawn couldn’t wait to share the news with Maja.

Maja breathed a sigh of relief. She had invested half of the funding for that movie. If it made a good profit, then she

would have money to invest in other films or TV shows in the future.

A good start.

“You’ve worked hard, Shawn.”

Shawn asked a bit awkwardly, “Can I invite you to the premiere tonight? Even though it’s not an advance

screening.”

She was taking care of lan in the hospital during the advance screening, so previously she had turned him down.

“Sure, what time does the movie start?”

After all, Shawn was the company’s first artist, she couldn’t keep on turning him down.

“At seven! I’ll wait for you here when you get off work.”

Maja glanced at the time, it was still early, and she still needed to see Erlinda.

“I have to go out this afternoon, you go ahead and get busy. Don’t worry about the movie tickets, I’ll buy them later

and send you the address of the cinema.”

Shawn’s eyes lit up, a smile creeping onto his face, “Alright!”

After Maja agreed to his proposal, she personally went to Skyrim Film Academy.

She already knew where Erlinda was, Erlinda should be in her last class in the morning at that time.

Maja waited outside. Because of her striking beauty, just standing in the hallway, several passing male students

asked for her contact, but were all politely rejected. Her skin was extremely delicate, and she looked so dewy.

Under the sunlight, it was as if she was bathed in gold.

Even the students in the classroom couldn’t help but keep turning around to look at her.

University students were mature, full of vitality, passionate, and beautiful.

After rejecting three people in a row, the bell finally rang signaling the end of class.

Erlinda was the last one to come out of the class. When she saw Maja, her steps instantly froze.

“Erlinda.”

Maja waved at her, then walked over.

Erlinda’s lips moved a few times, then she found a school chair to sit on.

“Ms. Penny, sit here, would you like some water? I can go get it.”

She could only afford bottled water, those slightly more expensive drinks were out of her reach, so she was a bit

uneasy in the situation.

“Erlinda, I don’t want to drink, I came here to talk to you about the script.”

“I’ve revised it, see if you’re satisfied.”

Erlinda hesitated and took out the script she’d revised.

Just one glance, and Maja knew that she didn’t put much thought into these words.
