Chapter 693

Maja took out her phone and snapped a picture of Mia, who was so scared she’d wet herself.

It was only then that Mia finally reacted, curling herself into a ball on the ground, crying.

Nobody had ever seen Maja act like this before. If that half–broken bottle had actually gone in, it could’ve ruined

Mia for life. Everyone was so scared they could hardly breathe.

Evelyn stuttered, “I am the daughter of Sunshine Realty. If you bully me, my dad, Mr. Farley, will make you pay, you

monster.”

Evelyn quickly took the opportunity to help Mia up.

Mia felt a mix of embarrassment and fear, and her mental state was a bit off. She just kept crying.

A group of people quickly took Mia and left.

Everyone had varying head injuries, but no one dared to confront Maja again. They just wanted to get as far away

from that monster as possible.

Mia was taken back to the Haskins family. The Haskins were having a family meal, and everyone was quite merry

until they opened the door to see a group of girls supporting Mia.

Fitch frowned, giving a cold glance without saying a word.

The rest of the Haskins family quickly asked, “What happened?”

“Didn’t Mia just leave? What happened? Why are her pants wet?”

Seeing a high–ranking adult present, the socialites finally felt safe and began to cry.

Their hair was a mess, a clear indication that they had gotten into a conflict.

The Haskins knew all these kids. They were all rich girls who appeared at various parties. Everyone was in the same

circle, but right now, they were all in a sorry state.

Mia was the worst off. People could even smell the urine on her.

Mia was still crying, shaking all over as if she had received a major scare.

Mia’s mother, Sharon Haskins, who usually spoiled Mia, looked extremely displeased at the sight of Mia.

Sharon instructed two servants, “Help Mia take a bath.”

Mia was still crying, stuttering so much she couldn’t get a word out.

The rest of the Haskins family had been drinking, but now everyone was silent, knowing Sharon was angry.

Sharon smiled at the group of young girls and said, “Come in and sit down, and tell me exactly what happened.”

The girls sat down on the couch, crying.

Evelyn choked back tears before finally telling the story of what Maja had done.

“That’s what happened. Penny flirts with men everywhere. We went to find her tonight, just to get her to stay away

from Samuel Brown, but Penny started fighting us directly. It hurt a lot. She even smashed a bottle and tried to blind

Mia. Mia was scared out of her mind. We all were. Penny is a lunatic!”

The girls started crying again. All of them came from good families, and Sharon, as a senior, didn’t care about

rumors within the circle, so she didn’t know who Penny was.

Sharon took a deep breath, comforting the crying girls. “I will definitely give you a satisfactory explanation. Let the

driver take you home first.”

The girls were still crying, and Evelyn kept looking back.

Sharon turned to her son, Fitch. “Who is Penny?”

Fitch was still holding his glass. Seeing the condition of Mia and the girls, he knew they must have been bullied.

But no matter what, Penny’s actions were too extreme.

Fitch had been investigating other matters and hadn’t paid much attention to Penny. He only knew that Penny had

some rumors about lan Raymond.

“Penny is an interior designer at Greenfield Gardens and has some connections with lan.”

“So she’s a homewrecker?”

Everyone knew lan had just divorced.

“You could say that. But I think lan is just messing around.”

Sharon narrowed her eyes in anger, “You go find her. Make her pay for hurting Mia.”

“How should I do it?” Fitch grabbed a coat from the side.

Sharon scoffed, “Didn’t you hear what the girls said? Penny almost ruined Mia’s face! She’s so vicious. If we don’t

deal with her, Mia will be in danger.”

Fitch rubbed his forehead, “You should also educate Mia properly. Stop her from always looking for trouble, always

following Samuel around. Doesn’t she feel shameful?”

Sharon took a deep breath, “That’s no reason for Penny to lay hands on Mia. Anyway, go take care of Penny.”

“I got it.” Fitch was already heading out the door.

Fitch lit up a cigarette as he got into the car, then called lan.

lan had just woken up, and a doctor was checking on him.

Jeff had been waiting by lan’s side, asking carefully, “Mr. Raymond, are you feeling better?”

lan glanced at the sky outside, and it was already evening. He leaned back, his head still throbbing.

Just then, Fitch called.

“Do you still like Penny?”

“What happened?”

“She pissed off my sister Mia, my mom Sharon wants me to deal with Penny.”

lan rubbed his forehead as he stood up.

“Try hurting Penny, I dare you.”
