Maja suddenly felt the jellyfish seal in her bag burning her hand.

How could Lillian possibly be involved with such an organization?

And why would Lillian remind her that the jellyfish seal could be helpful when needed?

Maja suddenly felt restless, hearing Beck start to explain again.

“This organization has been around for too long and is very mysterious, officially called Bloodkillers. They get things

done for people, as long as you can pay, they dare to kill anyone. Twenty–something years ago, someone probably

paid them to kill that wealthy family.”

Maja swallowed nervously, feeling a bit cold.

“Beck, aren’t you worried that one day someone will pay them to kill you?”

Beck chuckled lightly, his tone casual.

“Those BK guys only care about money. If I pay more than the other person, they’ll even kill their employer. So

those who want to pay BK to act will think about. whether I’m willing to pay more to protect my life. Once l’agree,

they’re dead meat.”

“But twenty–something years ago, didn’t they kill a world’s richest family? Being the richest, they should have

enough money, right?”

“That man had more than forty women, his fortune was already a hot mess, so he didn’t have much left, and no

one else was willing to put all their money together, so it’s normal he got killed.”

Beck finished, took a sip of his drink, his expression even more indifferent, “The bonds in a wealthy family are weak.

The one who paid for the murder was probably one of his sons

Maja didn’t speak anymore, feeling more and more that the jellyfish seal was a hot potato.

If she continued to hold onto it, she might keep being hunted.

But if she handed over the seal, it might put others in danger.

Tyler and Fitch were standing at the door of the box, and they were worried that something might go wrong tonight,

so they decided to come and see.

lan stared at Maja, and they had just survived an adventure together. Last night, he was still enjoying the pleasure

with her.

Yet, only a day later, she could change her attitude without any emotions.

Maja didn’t look at him. Thinking about the problems she faced made her feel upset.

And Connie was starting to hate her too. If she continued to entangle with lan, the abuses she would get would only

increase.

lan looked at her coldly, suddenly felt a bit funny. He even started to doubt if he was being used by this woman.

He walked up to her and asked her cautiously, “Do you like me?”

Maja pushed his hand away, “I’m sorry, Mr. Raymond, I thought our relationship was always clear.”

The light in lan’s eyes extinguished instantly, becoming as deep as the ocean.

He laughed, “So, everything between us was just you playing games, right, Penny.”

“If that’s what you think, I can’t help it.”
