Chapter 77
Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode
Chapter 77
That nightâs scene floated back into his mind.
He remembered the two dimples on her back, located just above her sacrum, on either side of her
spine. These dimples, known in the art world as âVenus Dimples, were considered one of the most
enticing features of the human body.
Now, Maja was standing before him. Her figure was elegant, slightly leaning forward. This posture
reminded him of that night when he held her waist tightly. lanâs eyes flickered, and his throat bobbed.
The air was thick with sexual tension, Majaâs hand gripping her paintbrush, her body warming up
She heard his footsteps getting closer, a wave of heat washing over her from behind. She tensed up
but lan just walked past her, picking up another paintbrush.
His chest lightly brushed against her back, separating immediately after.
But that warmth seemed to seep through their clothes and into their skin.
Maja stood frozen, watching lan dip his brush into her palette and make a few strokes on the wall
He didnât ruin the painting. His idea perfectly aligned with Majaâs: she had planned to paint that area the
same way.
She quickly pushed away her other thoughts, continuing to paint calmly.
Perhaps lan was just trying to warm his hand, so he put down the brush after a few strokes.
âMr. Raymond, itâs late. Donât you plan on getting some rest?â
âIve got a headache.â
Maja said nothing further, quietly calming her emotions, and focusing on the unfinished part of the
painting.
An hour later, she couldnât help but glance back.
lan was gone. The room was empty.
She breathed a sigh of relief, her painting speed picking up.
She worked until seven in the morning, finally finishing. Maja felt so tired she was swaying on her feet.
She set her paintbrush and palette aside, knowing someone would clean up later, and went back to her
room exhausted.
After a quick shower, she collapsed onto her bed, falling asleep almost immediately.
The painting on the white wall was completed, and the staff at Riverside Haven had begun their work.
lan fmished his companyâs business for the day and heard a knock on the door. Jeff was inviting him to
dinner.
lan stepped out of his room to see several leaders waiting outside.
They exchanged a few words, then mentioned they received a batch of high-quality fish in the middle of
the night and wanted to treat him, their esteemed guest. lan had no choice but to follow them.
As they made their way towards the dining hall, they inevitably passed by the wall adorned with the
painting. One of them stopped, unable to resist praising it.
âMr. Raymond, do you like this painting? You mentioned yesterday that this white wall was too plain, so
we invited a student from Arcadia School of Modern Art. Itâs amazing she finished it in one night.â
Upon mentioning Maja, all the leaders wore contented smiles.
âThat girl is truly exceptional. Her mother passed away, and her father runs a company and doesnât
have time to take care of her, so she came here for high school. We didnât expect her to be the only
student in the county to get into Arcadia School of Modern Art.â
The leader speaking was in his fifties, now truly hoping to do something for Crystalbrook Valley before
retiring.
So, of course, he was a little flattering in front of a businessman like lan.
lan mentioned the wall was plain, so he immediately had someone come to decorate it.
lan smiled, his demeanor casual yet captivating.
âItâs a great painting, worthy of the Arcadia School of Modern Artâs reputation.â
The leaderâs smile deepened at lanâs words. It seemed he had chosen the right man for the job.
âIf Mr. Raymond wants to meet her, I can have someone call her right now.â
âNo need
He guessed she probably didnât sleep last night.
