Chapter 861
Dear Ex-wife Marry Me Novel Full Episode
Chapter 861
Maja moved to her car, rubbing her temples.
Shawn was standing nearby, practically looking at her with infatuation.
âMr. Pennyfeather, that music was really something, blew me away.â
Maja found this amusing, patting him on the shoulder.
âWeâve sealed the deal for the Ford endorsement, and weâre signing tomorrow. Gotta work our butts off.â
Shawnâs eyes flickered with an unreadable emotion. Seeing they were alone, he whispered, âMr. Penny feather,
thereâs something on your face. Close your eyes.â Maja didnât question him. âWhere?â
Shawn looked at her face, his throat bobbing. He was dying to kiss her, but then he heard footsteps behind him.
He quickly pinched Majaâs cheek, disappointment in his voice. âGone.â
Maja opened her eyes, smiling at him. âThanks, Iâve called your agent to pick you up. You should head home.â
As she spoke, she noticed lan not too far away. Surprised, heâs back?
Through the car windshield, Shawn had already seen the man approaching from behind and reluctantly got into the
car his agent drove.
âMr. Raymond.â Maja called out, though she wasnât in the best of moods. Playing the violin had brought back some
memories, so she bent down, ready to get into her car.
But lan quickly came over, holding her from behind.
She stiffened, sneaking a guilty look around.
The party was still going, but sheâd left early, so there was no one around.
She was initially heading for the driverâs seat, but lan made her sit in the passenger seat and took the wheel
himself.
Maja could tell he was upset, really upset.
The atmosphere in the car was heavy. Waiting for the traffic lights, he drummed his fingers on the steering wheel.
âHe tried to kiss you just now.â
Maja was taken aback. It took her a moment to realize he was talking about Shawn.
âMr. Raymond, I think thereâs been a misunderstanding.â
lanâs grip on the steering wheel tightened, and as soon as the traffic lights changed, he stepped on the gas.
Back at Rosewood Manor, Maja saw that he wanted to go in with her, which made her frown.
âYour back injury should be almost healed. Itâs time to move back to Greenfield Gardens. You like that house too,
right?
After all, she had designed that house herself.
lan didnât respond. They stood in the courtyard, Rosewood Manor lit up in front of them.
Maria opened the door at that moment.
âMs. Pennyfeather, Mr. Raymond, it might rain soon, come in quickly.â
As she spoke, there was already lightning in the sky.
Maja couldnât argue, so she went in first.
lan naturally followed behind her.

Maja had only had some fruits at the party. She didnât feel like eating at night, so she went straight to her bedroom
to take a shower.
But after the shower, she suddenly remembered that lan had taken over this room, and she had not brought her
pajamas when she came in.
The clothes she had just changed out of were soaked and had been thrown into the laundry basket.
All she had was a towel.
She tied up her hair lightly, assuming that lan might still be downstairs, so she wrapped herself in a towel and went
out.
As soon as she opened the bathroom door, she saw lan sitting in a chair.
He was slightly obsessed with cleanliness, so he wouldnât sit on the bed in clothes he had worn outside unless he
took them off.
Maja didnât expect him to be sitting there quietly, so she quickly turned off the light.
She opened the bedroom door, ready to leave for the guest room where she now slept.
But lanâs footsteps quickly followed her, and he closed the door she had just opened and enveloped her in his
shadow.
âMaja.â He called her name, her scent filling his nostrils.
âYou have been working hard for the company recently, and have been sick. You seem to have lost weight?â
His breath was on her ear, and his hands started to wander, kissing the exposed skin.
Majaâs hand clenched the doorknob, confused by his actions.
But the cold doorknob brought her back to reality, and she pushed him away.
âIâll call Jeff to pick you up. Also, pack up the clothes in the closet, donât leave them here, and donât come here
again.â
