feelings for Maja as well?”

“Stop making things up!”

Beck shot back, letting out a sigh.

“Forget it, I won’t meddle anymore, as long as you can convince Dad.”

“Dad always listens to Mom, so he’ll definitely agree to my proposal. Beck, see you in Greenfield.”

Beck gave a little smile, but after hanging up the phone, he started worrying about Maja’s safety.

Once his sister arrived there, the bodyguards who always protected her would follow suit. If she actually wanted

Maja out of the picture, Maja could be in danger at any moment.
