Chapter 10

Cornelia's POV

I was still thinking about my behavior before. Uuggh.. I don't know what should I do. Should I happy? Sad? Regret?

No. No. I'm not regretting anything. What kind of feeling is this? All my feelings were mixed together. Happy. Sad. Excited. Confused. Shy. Ugghhh.. I need to forget it quickly.

"Is that you, Cornelia?" I heard Grace's voice.

"Y..yeah. It.. It's me."

"How is the lunch with Colton?"

"It's great. He bring me to a nearby restaurant. It's quite small. But the food there is delicious."

"It's good to know that you two are doing good." I smiled as my reply to her.

"Cornelia, I'm sorry I have to say this. Tonight, I, Sophie, Anthony and Anne will be going to a party. It's an engagement party of Anne's ex boyfriend. Unfortunately, Colton still hate him. Even though, Anne forgive him. I'm sure Colton doesn't want to go there. Can you stay at home with Colton?"

"Yeah. Sure."

"It's not like I don't want to bring you there. It's because of Colton. I don't want to leave him alone. So, Can you stay? You can do whatever you want. You can invite your friend too."

"Nah. It's okay. Tori has called me before. She has a family meetimg tonight. I guess I'm stuck with Colton tonight."

Grace laughed. "It's not that bad though. You can get to know your boyfriend better right?" She sent me a weird look on her face. I quietly rolled my eyes.

"You go change and rest. I will prepare myself for tonight."

"Yeah. Sure."

I walked to the stairs and went to my and Colton's room. I changed my outfit and took a nap. Maybe this nap would make me forget about what have happened today.

"I'm home!"

I woke up because of that voice. I rub my eyes and gain my conscious first before walking out. After I gained my conscious, I walked out of the room and met Colton on the stairs. He was standing there.

"Welcome home." I said sleepily. I'm still sleepy.

"Am I waking you up?" I just smiled.

"I'm sorry." He pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. And then he let go.

I snapped. I'm awake now. Am I dreaming? Did he just hug me and kissed my forehead? Can this day become weirder? Uggghh.. Sleep can't help me at all.

"Go take a bath. You stink." I said. I acted and pinched my nose. I lied. Hahaha.. I just love to make fun and teased him. He always teased me first.

"No. I'm not stink. You are lying." He flicked my forehead.

"Ow! That's hurt idiot."

"If you keep lying, then your nose will grow longer."

"Hahaha.. Funny.." I said sarcasticly. And then we both laughed.

I followed him to our room. He laid on the bed. I joined him.

"Colton, do you know that all of your family will go out tonight?"

"Hm.. I know." He laid on the bed with closed eyes. He was tired, I guess.

"Then, do you know that it will just the two of us tonight?"

"Yeah. I know. What are you trying to say? Are you trying to seduce me?"

"What! In your dream."

"Yeah. It will be good if I had that dream. The dream of you trying to seduce me. Hh.. Yumm.." I hit him on his chest. He laughed.

"What are we going to do tonight?"

"We can watch movie. Play games if you want."

"Okay. I will go out. You need to take a bath."

"Do you want yo take a bath with me? We can save water."

"Hah! Very funny. Fortunately, I have taken a bath already." I said that and left our room. I left Colton alone.

"Cornelia, Has Colton here yet?"

"Yeah. He is in the bathroom taking shower now."

"Good. We are all ready to go." Anne said.

"You all look stunning."

"Of course. We are The Steward family after all." Anthony said. We laughed at his words.

"Let's go. If we don't go now, we will be late."

"Yeah. Okay. Let's go. Please take care of Colton, Cornelia. We will be back before 11." Grace said. And then she gave me a hug.

I hugged her back. "Yeah. I will take care of him. Take care of yourselve too."

She unwrapped her hands around me. "Bye." She gave me a smile and walked to the car. The other followed her.

"Bye!" I said when the car started to walked away.

I admire Anne. She didn't look sad at all. She seem happy. It seem that she really did forgive her ex boyfriend. I don't know about her and her ex. But I'm sure her ex have hurt her. Even Colton can't forgive her ex.

At that time, I heard a footstep.

"Lia, Have they already gone?"

"Yeah. What should we eat for dinner?"

"Nah. I'm still full. How about you?"

"Me too. Let's watch movie and eat popcorn. Oh! You can try the cookies that I and Grace made this morning!"

"Okay. Okay. I choose the movie and you bring the popcorn and the cookies here. Oh! Please get me some soda."

"Don't pick any dirty movie!" I teased him.

"I won't. But I know you will like the dirty movie." He teased me back. I laughed. I can't believe this billionaire can be this childish.

I went to the kitchen. I took a box of popcorn, cookies and 2 cans of soda. And then I bring them to our room.

When I opened the door, Colton has seated in front of the TV. He seated on the couch. And then I put all of the food and drink on the table in front of the couch and seat next to him.

"What are we watching?"

"It's horror movie."

"I never watched horror film. I don't know you like horror."

"I never watched horror too. I just want to test my courage."

We watched the film. We ate too while watching the film. It's not that scary. He was brave. I'm the one who squealed sometimes. It's shocking.

Colton put his hand on my shoulder. And he let me lean my head on his shoulder. Sometimes, when I was afraid, I lean more to him.

"Hey, the film is over. Wake up, sleepy head."

I don't know when, but I was asleep. My head was resting on Colton's shoulder. I immediately woke up when I heard Colton 's voice. I sleepyly looked up.

My eyes snapped open when my eyes met his. Our face was very near to each other. We looked at each other. I realized Colton's move foward. There was almost no distance between our face. We looked at each other. I knew he will kiss me. He leaned to me. His nose met mine. And then I closed my eyes. The next thing I know was.. his lips met mine. It was soft and sweet kiss. I kissed him back. He knew that I respon the kiss. He deepened the kiss. His tongue was playing with mine.

We pulled a part. Breathless. And then we started to kiss again. This time, I found his hand on my back. His hand was inside my clothes. He played his finger on my back. I grabbed his hair and played with it. He started to trailed down the kiss to my neck. I groaned in a pleasure.

"Colton! Cornelia! We are home!"

We heard Grace's voice and we pulled apart. Realized. We both shock with what we have done.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"No need to be sorry. You know that I give you a respons."

"No. No. I'm sorry. That was a mistake. I'm sorry. I should have never kissed my fake girlfriend. Sorry." he said that and then he left the room.

I felt tears on my cheeks. What? Mistake? All of that was a mistake? I can't believe he said that. I knew that both of us enjoy that moment. In that moment, I was completely lost. I even forget that I'm just his fake girlfriend. But a mistake? He kissed me was a mistake?

I went to the bed, hug my pillow and cried. It's my first kiss. And he said that my first kiss was a mistake? I give him my first kiss and he said it was a mistake? My heart was in pain. I can't stop crying.

Colton's POV

I closed the door quietly. And leaned into it.

What the hell! What have I said? I said it was a mistake? Why I said that! I felt like I'm about to punch something.

It's not a mistake. I knew that I kissed her. I knew that we both enjoy it. I knew that it was her that I kissed. But why I said it was a mistake?

Why the hell I even brought the fake girlfriend thing?

I knew it was her first kiss. I knew that I stole her first kiss. I want to make her felt better. But what I said before have hurt her even more.

I punched the wall near me. I was such a fool. I have hurt the most important person in my life.
