Cornelia's POV

Today will be our first date, I got kinda excited about it. I was in Colton's room. Or should I said 'our room'? It's already 5 P.M Colton will be home soon enough. I quickly took a shower, I wore a cute and comfortable attire. I wore a tank top and a blue jeans hem. I left the hem unbuttoned, I wore black jeans trousers. I put a simple make up and tie my hair into a ponytail.

I heard the sound of car outside, I quickly ran down the stairs and waited for Colton in front of the door. It has been my habit since two weeks ago. It felt so right, I enjoyed my new habit.

I heard the door open. I knew that it was Colton who opened the door. I always welcomed him everytime he came home. Even if I didn't wait for him in front of the door, he will always look for me or yell "I'm home!" It has been our new habit. Grace said Colton has never done that before. Since his girlfriend lived here, he started that new habit. That's what Grace said. I actually wanted to correct her. I'm not his girlfriend. I'm just his fake girlfriend.

"Welcome home!" I said with a cheerful tone.

He looked tired. "I'm home." He smiled at me and patted my head. I love being patted by him. I smiled.

"You are tired, aren't you??"

"Yeah."

"Should we postpone it?"

"No. I will be fresh again once I take a shower. Moreover, it's my promise with you."

"Thank you for keeping your promise." I smiled at him.

"Anything for my beautiful girlfriend. And you're welcome. You are ready to go?"

"Correction. I'm your fake girlfriend. And I am ready to go. But you are not. I will give you 20 minutes. You need to prepare yourself." I commanded him. But it was just a joke.

"Yes, madam." He said and laughed. I just giggled

I waited for him in the 1st floor. I played with my phone while waiting for him.

"I'm ready now. Should we go now?"

I looked at him. He is really handsome, he wore informal attire. Almost the same as me, he wore a blue jeans with a black hem. His hair looked a bit messy. But it made him look.. hot?

"Hmm.. We should."

"Mom! I'm going to take my girlfriend on a date! We will be back later!" He yelled.

"Okay, sweetie. Be back before 10, okay?" I heard his mom yelled back.

"Okay." We said in unison.

He put his hand on my shoulder and took me to his car. He opened the door for me.

"Being a gentlemen, are you?"

He just chuckled and let me in to his car. After he closed the door, he walked to the driver seat. And then he started to drive his car to the carnaval.

We arrived at the carnaval. It was crowded. It looked so fun, I could see many games from here.

"Should we go in?" I nodded in response.

We stopped at the locked. I opened my purse to took my money. But Colton stopped me.

"I'm the one who promised you. So it's on me. You don't need to pay for anything."

"But I'm the one who asked you to bring me here."

"It's fine. I will pay."

"Okay. Thanks." I smiled.

After we got the tickets. We entered the carnival, It's crowded here. Couples and families were the carnaval's visitors. Colton took my hand and hold my hand. I knew it was just because it's crowded here. He did this so I will not get lost. I felt kinda sad though.

"What do you want to play?"

"Umm.. I don't know. It has been a long time since I came to a carnival."

"Tell me when you want to play something."

After a few minutes, I wanted to play ring toss. So we went there. I wanted to play this game because I wanted to get the big Teddy Bear. They will give that Teddy Bear as a grand prize. And that Teddy Bear is so fluffy! I told Colton about it.

"You want to play because of the Teddy Bear?"

"Yupp! It's cute. It's huge too!"

"You can always buy it."

"But the feel is still different. I want that Teddy Bear as a prize."

He just chuckled.

I went to the ring toss and paid for it. The person in charge gave me 3 rings. I tried to toss it one by one. But I couldn't throw the ring into the correct place. One, failed. Two, failed. Three, failed. Uuggh.. Was this game always that hard? I tried again for the second round. And I failed again. I gave up. I accepted the fact that I was a loser.

I heard Colton laughed.

"Hey, Don't laugh!"

"How can you lose to a game?" He kept laughing.

"It's hard."

"It's not that hard. You just need to focus on the target."

I pouted. "It's easy to talk. Just prove it."

"I will not prove it directly. Just let me teach you." He said. He went there again with me and paid for 3 rings. We need to throw 3 rings in the correct places in order to get that big fluffy Teddy Bear.

He taught me. He placed me in front of him. He was standing behind me. He held both of my hands. And he told me to close on of my eyes. He said that it will help me to focus. And then he helped me to throw the rings. 1st ring, in. 2nd ring, in. 3rd ring, in. It was perfect! I was beyond happy and unconsciously hugged him. He hugged me back too. The person who was in charge of this game gave me a congratulation and the big fluffy Teddy Bear. I will love this Teddy Bear with all my heart. I hugged the Teddy Bear. It's so fluffy!

"Thank you, Colton."

"It's not hard, right?"

"It's still hard. But thanks for your help. This Teddy Bear means a lot to me." He smiled gorgeously.

It's not that crowded now. But he still held my hand.

"Colton, it's not crowded here. You don't have to pull an act too. You can let go of my hand."

"It's not because of the crowd. Not because of the act either. It's because I want to do this, Lia." Colton said while looking at me. I blushed.

Lia? He called me Lia? Why I let him call me Lia? No one called me Lia except my parents. Not even Tori. But why I wasn't mad at him? What I felt right now was shock mixed with happy.

"Hey, don't zone out. Let's buy an ice cream and then go to the ferris wheel."

"Oh, sorry. Ferris wheel? Ice cream? Yay! Let's go!"

We bought an ice cream and standing in the queue for the ferris wheel. He never let go of my hand. And.. I'm happy about it.

We stood in the queue for awhile. And it's our turn to rode the ferris wheel. We took a seat. He sat in front of me. The ferris wheel got higher and higher.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yeah. It is. It's really beautiful. Thanks for bringing me here."

"You're welcome. Can I ask you something?"

"You have asked already."

"I'm being serious here."

"I'm serious too. But sure, just ask."

"Why are you zoned out before?"

"Uumm.. It's because you called me Lia before."

"Why is with that?"

"No one has called me Lia except my parents. Even Tori still calls me Cornelia. I got mad everytime someone calls me Lia. When I met Tori for the first time, I got mad at her. So even now, she still call me Cornelia. But I don't know what happened before, I just let you call me Lia."

"So.. Can I call you Lia?"

"S..sure. Y..you can."

He held my hand. And his gaze met mine. "Can you tell me why you don't want anyone to call you Lia except your parents?"

"Sorry. I'm not ready to tell you."

"It's okay. You can tell me when you are ready."

We have reach the ground. We got out of the ferris wheel.

It's night already.

"It's night. Let's go home. Grace will get worried if we don't arrive at home before 10."

He let out a sigh. "We only play 2 games today. It's all because of your stupid game."

"Hey, it's not stupid. I got a cute Teddy Bear from it."

"Whatever." We both laughed. We went out from the carnaval. He held one of the Teddy Bear's hand. And I held the other one. The Teddy Bear stood between us. It felt like we brought a child with us. I giggled at that thought. We went to his car. And went back to his house.

"Did you two have fun?" Grace asked.

"Yes, we had a lot of fun."

"I see you've brought a child with you."

"A child?" I heard Anthony and Anne yelled in unison.

"It's just a Teddy Bear, Dad." And then they laughed together.

After talking with them, we went to our room.

"Can I use the bathroom first?" I just nodded. I removed my make up and untied my hair while waiting for Colton.

The shirtless Colton walked out of the bathroom. It has been 2 weeks and 2 days since I moved here, but I still found Colton's body is gorgeous.

After that I used the bathroom. I changed my outfit to my pajamas. After I finished with everything, I went to bed.

We still have bolster as our barrier. But sometimes I still found Colton's hand on my waist.

"Good night, Colton."

"Good night, Lia."

I love being called Lia by him, I smiled and let myself fall asleep.
