Chapter 15
Wake Up As Gay Werewolf Prince [BL]
âSo, how should we go to Jing Pavilion now?â After reluctantly meeting Yu Ming again to pay for the âhareâ he had chosen, Bai Chen and the hare stood in front of the Red Pavilion, and he broke the silence with a question.
In his heart, he kept wondering about the real Bai Chenâs habit of bringing prostitutes back to Jing Pavilion. It wasnât that there wasnât room in the Red Pavilion where they could jump into bed together and do something that would mess up the sheets, but the real Bai Chen chose to always bring prostitutes to his palace.
âItâs not that I want to immediately do something with this person in the Red Pavilion, but itâs quite annoying since this matter is affecting the system. I have to arrive at Jing Pavilion with this person before I can get the reward points,â Bai Chen grumbled to himself.
He still hadnât gotten a reward for his main mission of bringing a male prostitute home, and he assumed that it was due to the fact that he and the male prostitute he had chosen were still far from Jing Pavilion. To get the reward, he had to make sure that the man named Zhu Ge appeared at his pavilion.
âYou donât know how to return to your palace?â Zhu Ge asked with a frown while looking at Bai Chen, and Bai Chen just realized his mistake.
He casually asked the man about the matter without remembering that the real Bai Chen in this world should know the answer without needing to ask.
Now Zhu Ge looked confused as he continued to stare at him, and Bai Chen mentally slapped his forehead. âIf he suspects me, it could jeopardize my mission,â he anxiously bit his lip, and he tried to find another cover for the hole he had just dug.
.....
âAh!â The Prince suddenly exclaimed. âYouâre a human, so you donât know the role-playing trend in my palace, right?â
âRole-playing?â Zhu Ge parroted.
And like a genius, Bai Chen began to explain role-playing, âItâs like opera in the human empire! We pretend to be someone other than ourselves, and itâs very interesting! I played a role just now.â
Bai Chen looked confident, but he didnât even know if there was an opera in the human empire. Therefore, he nervously waited for Zhu Ge to answer his question, and the manâs dry expression didnât let him guess what was on his mind.
âWho are you?â Zhu Geâs response finally came, but instead of feeling relieved, Bai Chen widened his blue eyes after hearing it.
âHe asked who I am? Does that mean, he realized that Iâm not the real Bai Chen? But the system doesnât give me a warning! But maybe the system is late just like before!â Bai Chen was conflicted inside, but suddenly, he winced in pain as he felt stung on his forehead.
Looking up at the taller man, he discovered that it was Zhu Ge who had just flicked his forehead.
âToday is the second time Iâve seen you, but the last time I saw you, you all smiled and never frowned at all. Why are you frowning too much today?â Another question came from Zhu Ge.
Bai Chen had his right hand stroke his forehead, but then he realized something from Zhu Geâs question. âYou said that today is the second time weâve met? But, why did you ask who I was just now?â He asked back instead of answering.
The shorter man was worried that his target would find out his identity, but when he heard how the human was questioning him, he saw a glimmer of light peeking through the gap in the door.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Zhu Ge looked tired, and he sighed before replying, âYou said you were playing a role just now, didnât you? What role did you play? Who were you when you asked me about how we should go to Jing Pavilion?â
Bai Chenâs mouth formed a shape resembling a baozi upon hearing the taller manâs explanation, and he felt like the ropes binding his lungs were loosening as he could breathe freely again.
âIâm playing the role of...â He trailed as he tried to find the best answer. âYour new customer! Yes! I want to play the role of your new customer, and Iâm so pure and innocent that I donât even know how to get back to my house because this place is so far from home.â
At this point, one would not be able to tell the difference between innocent and stupid. Even an innocent person would know the way home, right?
âThatâs interesting.â Fortunately, Zhu Ge seemed to buy the lame acting. Folding his left hand in front of his chest before placing his right elbow on the back of his left hand, he stroked his beard-free jaw. âYou are my new customer, and I will act as the domineering male prostitute of the Red Pavilion. How about that?â
Bai Chen didnât know whether to laugh or cry. From the outside, Zhu Ge didnât look like someone who would cooperate easily as he often showed an expressionless face, but surprisingly, taller men foolishly fell into his trap.
Bai Chen secretly breathed a sigh of relief after successfully securing his identity. Smiling at the taller man, he then asked, âSo, can this handsome gege tell me how I can get back to my palace? I canât wait for gege to teach me how to play inside my pavilion.â
Saying such nonsense, Bai Chen felt like throwing up. âI should have chosen another role like kidnapper or assassin. Why did I choose to be a stupid customer?â He mentally smacked his forehead again.
However, Zhu Ge looked amused when he saw how the man was acting. Raising his hand and using it to cup Bai Chenâs chin, he then replied, âWe will be walking to your pavilion, and we will have to pass through a snow mountain in the process. If you feel cold on the mountain, I can always warm you with my body.â
Now, Bai Chen felt like running away.
