Bai Chen blinked as a blue translucent screen suddenly flashed before his eyes, and he could read the writing on it as well as hear a who-knows-from-where voice. The voice belonged to a woman, but he was only with a male servant now.

“Did you hear that voice?” Bai Chen dumbly asked the male servant, but instead of answering his question, the servant suddenly pushed his body so that he was forced to retreat into the pavilion again.

“Aiyah! What voice are you talking about, Your Highness?” The male servant named Ma Qiao tsk-ed as he turned around to close the door. “You go outside in only your zhong yi[1]? Do you want to show off your body so much?”

‘The voice told me that this man is my servant, but this man dares to scold me like this,’ thought Bai Chen as he brought his head back as the shorter man scolded him while bringing his face close to his. ‘But wait. I think this servant didn’t hear the voice just now. Does that mean, the voice belongs to the system? Is it really like in a transmigration novel?’

Bai Chen suddenly let out a “Woah” sound, and the servant stepped back while furrowing his brows at the prince. “Are you really sick, Your Highness? Your hare[2] reported to me this morning, saying that you fell unconscious last night when you were playing with him. I had to hit him on the head because he only reported to me today when you passed out last night, Your Highness!”

The black-haired man named Ma Qiao suddenly started babbling at a speed that resembled a rap song to Bai Chen’s ears, and he couldn’t catch all the words except for one word. “Hare? Do I keep a hare here?” He asked while frowning after he heard the word ‘hare’ in Ma Qiao’s babble.

“Of course, Your Highness,” replied the servant. “He was the one who accompanied you last night. Did you forget him? Was it because of the unsatisfactory service that you immediately forgot him?”

Bai Chen tried to digest Ma Qiao’s words, ‘Someone who accompanied me last night? The service is not satisfactory?’ But unfortunately, his cerebellum couldn’t work quickly, and it took a few seconds before it gave out information that made his eyes widen.

“IS THE MAN FROM LAST NIGHT MY BOYFRIEND OR SOMETHING?” He suddenly shouted, causing the servant to automatically cover his ears with his hands.

The theory formed in Bai Chen’s head because he and the unknown man were naked last night, and he could only think of the possibility that the man was his boyfriend.

‘I and Ah Ying were also naked in bed, and we were lovers. So, am I gay in this world? I have a boyfriend here?’ Bai Chen felt like crying because he had just realized the possibility.

Last night, the man did point his sword at his tight hole, but he didn’t expect that he would be willing to have sex with a man. He still had a positive idea that the man was forcing him to have sex, but he was wrong.

“What boyfriend, Your Highness? You have bought that man from the Red Pavilion to fulfill your needs, and you have no such relationship with him. How could you forget that, Your Highness?”

The servant rambled on once more, but Bai Chen was dumbfounded when he heard the explanation. ‘I have bought a guy? Does that mean, the guy is a male prostitute or something? So, the Bai Chen in this world is not only gay, but he is also someone who likes to play with prostitutes?’

Bai Chen felt that a ton of rocks had just fallen from the sky right on his head, and he suddenly felt dizzy. He would have fallen to the ground if the servant didn’t catch his hand in time.

“A-are you alright, Your Highness? Are you really sick? Let’s go back to your bed, Your Highness.”

The brown-haired man ignored the servant’s words and just let the servant drag his body toward his bed.

‘So, that cunning little wolf is deliberately hiding the truth that the Bai Chen in this world is gay and a very nasty guy? I’m a werewolf now, right? I will definitely bite the little wolf to death later!’

Bai Chen was indeed a werewolf even though his appearance was now that of a normal human, and as such, he dared to orchestrate an evil plan to punish the little wolf who dared to hide this important matter from him.

He was busy staging the evil plan, and without realizing it, he was already sitting on his bed, but his blue eyes were still empty.

Ma Qiao looked puzzled when he saw his master’s unusual behavior, and after pondering for a moment, he suddenly left the prince’s room before returning with a bucket of water in his hands.

Without saying a word, Ma Qiao emptied the water by pouring it all on Bai Chen’s head.

Bai Chen squeaked like a cat that had just been stepped on by its tail, and he immediately snapped, “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO ME?”

The translucent screen suddenly flickered in red color after he shouted at the male servant, and he looked confused before he barked at the screen, “WHO THE FUCK WAS GOING OOC?”

And Bai Chen just remembered about Bai Lang’s second rule which he couldn’t break no matter what.

[1] Zhong yi: looks like regular hanfu (the traditional styles of clothing worn by the Han Chinese), but they can only be worn inside of other clothes. They are usually white but can be other colors as well. Going outside with only zhong yi on is regarded as impolite.

[2] Hare: or rabbit, is slang for male prostitute (source: book of “Sex, Law, and Society in Late Imperial China”)
