It seemed that Zhu Ge didn’t want to prolong the matter related to the lame joke anymore, and Bai Chen decided to play along. “What do you mean?” He asked.

Sighing again upon hearing the question, Zhu Ge then replied, “I know you are looking for a book containing information about the Dong Lang royal family, but Dong Lang has been around for many years, and there are so many royal families in this empire. I’m not sure if what you’re looking for is in the book.”

What Zhu Ge had just said did make sense, and Bai Chen turned his gaze to the book again before starting to read the writing on the first page. His eyes widened as he read the text.

“BAI GUOWEI’S FAMILY HISTORY.”

Bai Chen might not be the smartest person in the world, but he still remembered that Bai Guowei was the name of the current Dong Lang Emperor. Bai Guowei was Bai Chen’s father, and he knew that he had found the book he was looking for.
