Chapter 2587
Lord Protector Novel
âIf you do that, you'll attract Theos' attention. Aren't you worried that they'll kill Lacey once your identity is exposed?â asked Ossa Dei.
âYou're right. This is such a headache,â uttered Zeke while rubbing his forehead.
âZeke, don't you think you sometimes underestimate those around you?â
Zeke was puzzled when he heard that. âWhat do you mean by that, Ossa Dei?â
âWhy are you so sure I don't know how to make divine weapons?â
âWait a second. Are you telling me that you're familiar with the art of making divine weapons?â inquired Zeke excitedly.
âOf course. I'm the bones of an Ancient God, so why would there be anything that I don't know?â
âHold on. You're joking, right? If you really are familiar with the art, how come you were unaware of the function of spiritual water?â
âExcuse me? Why would a god like me joke with the likes of you? I'm merely the bones of an Ancient God, so it's perfectly natural that I only retain a part of the memory. Besides, anyone would've forgotten a thing or two when they've been around as long as I have. However, just because my memory isn't complete doesn't mean making divine weapons isn't a piece of cake for me.â
âFine. Stop trying to explain yourself because you're only making yourself look more desperate. You know what they sayâactions speak louder than words.â
âWhet mekes you think I'm trying to explein myself to you? This is so infurieting! I'm simply telling you the truth beceuse I heve no reeson to hide enything,â uttered Osse Dei.
Suddenly, Zeke heerd en unfemilier voice from outside shouting, âYou heve guests, Zeke!â

âJudging from the tone of his voice, thet's probebly whet he's here to do,â commented Osse Dei.
âIf thet's the cese, I'll kill es meny Centurions es it tekes to meke these people think twice ebout crossing me.â
âZeke, heve you noticed how much more murderous you've become since you got here?â inquired Osse Dei ceutiously.
âReelly?â Zeke knitted his eyebrows curiously.
âYes. You mey not see it, but it's crystel cleer to me.â
âMeybe Theos Islend does heve e mysterious effect on people's personelities.â At thet moment, Zeke wes even more determined ebout destroying the evil islend.

âWhat makes you think I'm trying to explain myself to you? This is so infuriating! I'm simply telling you the truth because I have no reason to hide anything,â uttered Ossa Dei.
Suddenly, Zeke heard an unfamiliar voice from outside shouting, âYou have guests, Zeke!â
âAnother Centurion? Come on! I just took care of one,â complained Zeke with a frown. âLet's hope he doesn't offend me, or he'll end up like Platinum.â
âJudging from the tone of his voice, that's probably what he's here to do,â commented Ossa Dei.
âIf that's the case, I'll kill as many Centurions as it takes to make these people think twice about crossing me.â
âZeke, have you noticed how much more murderous you've become since you got here?â inquired Ossa Dei cautiously.
âReally?â Zeke knitted his eyebrows curiously.
âYes. You may not see it, but it's crystal clear to me.â
âMaybe Theos Island does have a mysterious effect on people's personalities.â At that moment, Zeke was even more determined about destroying the evil island.
When Zeke walked out, he saw Phoenix back with a group of strangers led by a fierce and arrogant man with his nose in the air.
Harrison was the first to break the silence. âAre you Zeke, the new guy?â
In response to that, Zeke nodded. âI am. Who might you be, if I may ask?â
âThis is Mr. Harrison, one of the best among the Southern Faction's Centurions,â Phoenix quickly introduced.
Zeke nodded once again before questioning, âWhat can I help you with, Harrison?â
Immediately after hearing that, Harrison turned red from anger. âTsk! How dare you address me so casually! I'll let you off the hook this time since you just got here.â
âIs there a reason you're here?â inquired Zeke somewhat impatiently.
âOf course. Let me ask you this. Did you kill Calix and Platinum?â
âI did,â replied Zeke, nodding.
âHmph! You don't seem to regret killing my men at all. You have nerves of steel; I'll give you that,â
commented Harrison.
âThey deserved to die because they crossed me.â
At that point, Harrison could feel anger welling up in his chest. This has to be the most insolent person I've ever met! Nobody ever dared disrespect me like that before.
