Chapter 953
Lord Protector Novel
âDonât be upset, Mr. Luna. Let me explain. Iâve always kept this in mind, and Iâve been constantly looking for an opportunity to get rid of Zeke Williams. Now, the time has finally come. Give me three days and Iâll be sure to kick him out of Atheville.â
Theodoreâs tone softened, âAlright. Iâll await your good news.â
Upon hanging up, Conrad pondered for a moment before quickly coming up with an idea.
He whipped out his phone and dialed a number. âDo me a favor, Lucius. Bring me a few A-list celebrities thatâve signed with Trust Media. I have some business to discuss with them.â
âSure thing.â
Lucius Johansson was Trust Mediaâs top agent.
He managed all five of Trust Mediaâs A-list celebrities.
In less than half an hour, Lucius brought the five artists over to the Lewis family home.
These artists were in high demand and received offers every day.
However, the fact that Conrad could gather all of them, was proof of his power.
The moment Conrad entered the lounge, Lucius and the five artists immediately stood up to greet him.
With a smile, Conrad urged them to take a seat, as he jumped right into the subject after a few quick exchanges.
âTo be frank, Iâve run into a slight problem and was hoping that you could help me out.â
Lucius was the first to speak up, âJust say the word, Mr. Lewis. Weâll do whatever we can to help.â
The five artists nodded in agreement.
Conradâs status was now roughly equal to that of Theodore Luna.
It would be extremely beneficial if this man were to owe them a favor after helping him out.
Conrad smiled. âAlright, then Iâll get straight to the point. I want you to terminate your contracts with Trust Media, the reason being that you refuse to accept the unspoken rules established by its new boss, Zeke Williams.â
The artists immediately tensed up as their eyes widened.
All this while, they had received the support of Trust Media.
Nonetheless, they were now being requested to frame and terminate their contracts with their pillars of support.
This was simply too... Unscrupulous.
Upon seeing how distressed they appeared, Conrad had no choice but to pull out his trump card.
He placed a stack of agreements on the table and muttered coldly, âTake a look at these documents. It wonât be too late for you to decide after going through them.â
The artists skeptically glanced at the agreements and were instantly mortified.
This was an under-the-table tax evasion deal.
The amount allocated was several billions.
If this agreement were to be exposed, they would have to fork out ten times the amount as a penalty, subject to facing jail time as well.
By then, there was no way that they could remain in the entertainment industry.
Having been put in such a tight spot, they could only steel themselves and sign the agreements.
Conrad smirked.
Hmph. Iâd like to see how youâll be able to remain in Atheville after your artists get caught, Zeke Williams.
At Trust Media.
âWhat? You want to terminate your contracts?â
Laceyâs head began to pound, as she gazed at the five artists before her.
Theyâre our A-list celebrities... The souls of Trust Media!
Weâll be nothing but an empty shell without them.
The artists nodded. âYes, Ms. Hinton. Please give us your signature.â
âWhy are all of you suddenly doing this?â Lacey hurriedly asked. âIs there something youâre not happy with, about the company? We can always talk about it.â
